Did you guys see that there is no other recent tourney thread on Teamliquid with as many views and posts as ours? Except for GSL,of course.

I really wish that we can turn Rumble into a "thing". Get some more contact to some more pros.
Make up a better structure. Kick out Trus (kidding,I love you man.). Etc...

I think the best part is that we raised about half of the MLG national championship grand prize. (It was about $6300 I think).


I'm leaning towards the charity part being annual or bi-annual, even if we do Rumbles more often. It'd be really great if we could gain enough popularity for next year to do a charity tournament with some pro players.

Just watched iNControl's commentary on my match with HugeInJapan. I really cracked up when he said, "Okay, so green sees red's Stargate and says, 'Fuck it, I'm going Robo anyway.'" And also whenever he joked about how many minerals I was floating (yeah, that's a huge problem for me).

Then I felt all warm and fuzzy when he complimented my Chronoboosting.

Then, when I got to the end and saw I was still in the stream, I was just angry at myself for muting the stream instead of closing the tab entirely. It was such a stupid mistake to give the impression I was listening in, especially considering what 3clipse had done earlier. I really should have known better, and I apologize for tainting the final match like that.

So a mix of emotions for me, but mostly good. It wasn't a perfect event, but I think it went really well for being the first tournament of its kind, and it raised a fantastic amount of money. I'd love to participate in whatever its next incarnation will be.

Assuming I'm still terrible, that is.

Stilts, I was also in the stream and just muted myself ;p
But I did announce it to the chat, and I'm sure our play showed that we weren't listening, haha.


edit:
went and watched the VoDs. God, I played awful against stilts, haha. Incontrol and Trus make a good casting pair, Incontrol is so above this and making fun of everything while Trus is seriously casting ;p
