And people thought letting go of the remote during bowling/tennis/anything on the Wii was bad. I can't imagine trying to continually suppress the urge to let go of the Move controller when "throwing" a dart.
Sounds like a good idea, but unless you're planning on corking your entire wall, you'll eventually get some idiot who doesn't know how to throw a dart putting a hole in your wall.
Pretty sure it's a law or something.
Well, I think it's a law that anytime you introduce a throwing motion into your home, you're going to get a hole in your wall. It's up to you whether it's a dart-, Wiimote-, football-, bocciball-, pancake-, or frisbee-shaped hole.
Yeah I mean, I know there are all kinds of accidents with these wii-motes but I mean.. actually throwing it.. right at the screen... doesn't seem like a good formula for NOT putting holes in your $5000 plasma flat-screen 3D HD-TV.
I came to this thread because first thing I thought when I saw this comic was "I'm getting Calvin and Hobbes, I wonder if anyone else is. Let's check the thread!". I was glad to find this as second post.
I love that Tycho's ponderings take up all three panels while clearly the only thought going through Gabe's brain is "Wheeeeeeeeeee!"
You definitely get a lot of fucking time to ponder when you're dragging your sled back up the hill. Always hated that part of things.
I like to think that once Gabe got to the bottom and started pulling his sled back up, that's when he was thinking about how nice his own penis looked to him

go prostrate yourself before tube or something, this shit is getting ridiculous
OH THANK GOD. I was going nuts.... I was like "I'm rarely EVER on this MB, and I LOVE trolls! What could this guy have possibly done to get me to ignore him?"
Man, I really think the art from Gabe has increased about a billion-fold since Kurtz ended up at their office. Definitely one of their better moves. The quality of stuff from PA has just gone up.

I've had my wii since 2007, and have played plenty of the wiisports and a bit of wii sports resort.
I'm also a huge clutz.
Yet I have never had any trouble keeping that remote on my wrist. You have to be seriously dumb to do this.

Good luck with that. I'm still waiting for my Holistic Analysis wallpaper.
I actually emailed Gabe/Mike about a wallpaper for that one, something I'd never done in seven years of reading the comic. I can't remember him ever putting up a wallpaper for a comic more than week into the archives, though, so that ship has probably sailed.

The Twisp Argyle wallpaper is nice.
Yeah, same here (although I think that might have been the second time I've ever written in to request a wallpaper).

It should just be a wallpaper of the whole comic, minus panel borders, text, and bubbles.
my brother and I sunk a relatively large amount of time into it

Edit:
What the hell is the sound the announcers make at 1:00 when he hits the triple 19? I can't stop listening to it.
Edit2: It's apparently "Duble Twäälf" in Dutch. What a beautiful language.

I feel this is appropriate.
