When I was in anchorage it was about -10. I had to drive from Wasilla to Anchorage in the middle of a snowstorm in a crappy Dodge Caliber rental car and catch a puddlejumper plane to Kenai. I actually think that flying in bad weather is more enjoyable in a tiny plane than a big airliner.
We've had about 4 inches in the past week in northern Vermont even though it's been snowing everyday.
