Helping younger cousins with math is great fun and a rare opportunity to make believe that I'm a smart guy.

Helped one solve for a problem with not one but two unknown variables with algebra. I tried to make it sound as complicated as possible. (Not really)

Though next time I should make them use taylor or maclaurin approximation by hand.

    Did you involve prayer?

So, we have 4x + 2y = 6. First we need to invoke Vol, Lord of multiple unknowns.

My news is that I desorbed my particles!! And then they got stuck in the centrifuge tube.

Just got out of a meeting where they were all "yeah, write it up. Also you can't have an extension even though you'll be working."

    So it looks pretty good.

I managed to make a shitty sensor in the last few weeks.

i skipped ahead and watched the stonecutters ep and liked it even more than i remember liking it 10 years ago, though
    season one is weak
season two is a little iffy too

season three is where it turns crazy awesome

To be fair, there were quite a number of people that were like "Yeah, that shit got way too creepy sometimes and I can see why it got the axe."

From what I skimmed there were only a couple of people who got all indignant about it.

Office party this afternoon, during which I will no doubt continue my unbeaten run of bowling victories at works parties.

In other news, we have had a 'six months to turn things around or the company goes under/sheds most of the staff' meeting. Joy.

They are doing both of those on the same day at my brother's company. Except, they are calling the meeting a "company vision" meeting. The vision is more money and fewer problems.

Yeah, his crusade there is fucking weird

But aside from him and a couple of people making offhand comments I still say it looks like a small group of people getting butthurt about it and a larger number of comments that are pretty reasonable and understanding why it got locked.

    That's all I'm saying

Not that there isn't a shitload of crazy there, but that it's coming from just a couple of people

    Mostly one person, really.
