Cheap Laptop

So I am considering getting laptop in the 300-350 dollar range. Not right now, but maybe in a few months. So I got time to compare. After a whole 5 minutes of searching I found this one:

Would that one be considered good at that price? Are there any known issues with that particular model, so I should avoid it like the plague? Is there something better?

I'd google around a bit for reviews on certain intangibles, like how well the heat sink works (as that basically puts a lifespan on the model). HP is infamous for having shitty heat sink setups on their laptops, leading to hardware failures after 2-3 years of regular use.

You may also want to check out newegg. Their customer reviews are astronomically better than most sites.

People seem to really like this one:

$50 out of your price range, but may be worth it.

Also, what do you plan on using the laptop for? Would a netbook suffice?
