Thanks for all the Strategic Planning claims up to now - I believe The Ender is the only one left who could potentially make a claim. Once that is done, we'll follow through with the roll.

Vipers return to the reserves, Cylon ships are moved to the Cylon Fleet board. The Ender draws the top two cards of the Destination Deck and chooses a location for the fleet to jump to.

Chief moves to the Hangar Deck to work on the Viper Mk VIIs, signaling Cally to get the fleet to jumping. The fleet jumps away from the Cylon threat, though not without leaving a few people behind. For once, however, it is a time of relative peace. The people of Galactica gather at Joe's Bar to reflect on those that have been lost and steel their will to face the challenges ahead.

Skill Check [12] Politics + Leadership + Engineering
Pass: +1 morale
Fail: -1 morale and Current Player Galen Tyrol (Gene Parmesan) is sent to the "Brig".
After Crisis: Activate Raiders, Advance Jump Preparation
Yeah, in our situation there is no reason to pick a lower distance destination card. And the odds of getting 2 ones is very low I believe. Looks like we've found our other toaster.
Well, I don't know about that... to tank the destination she would have had to be a Cylon from the start, who used her OPG to take out a basestar instead of a civilian, etc. I think she's certainly due for a screening, though. I wonder if anybody whose turn is next can do that. >.>

Our high Distance destination would've cost us 2 fuel and a few other complications; it was tempting, but pretty high risk.

Hopefully we can catch someone poisoning this check and still pass it...
Skill Check [12] Politics + Leadership + Engineering
Pass: +1 morale
Fail: -1 morale and Current Player Galen Tyrol (Gene Parmesan) is sent to the "Brig".
Establish Network doubles the strength of Engineering cards in this check.
(9 + 4 + 2*10) - (1 + 1) = 31, Pass. +1 Morale.
Everyones' worries seem to disappear, if only temporarily. The Cylon threat is still looming large, but for the moment spirits are raised.
After Crisis: Activate Raiders, Advance Jump Preparation
There are no Raiders or Basestars on the main board, a die is rolled to place the Raider.
Placement Roll: 3, The Raider is placed in the starboard-quarter (1 o'clock) region of the Cylon Fleet board. The Pursuit Track advances to Level 3.
The Jump Track advances to Level 2, jump still unavailable. Turn 21: President Gaius Baltar (Capfalcon)
Receive Skills Step: Capfalcon draws 2 Politics, 1 Leadership, and 1 Engineering card.
Beneficial Result: Savvy Manipulator - You may choose any human player to receive either the President or the Admiral title. Antagonistic Result: Bad Influence - You are sent to the "Brig".
Brother Cavil (Research Lab)
Beneficial Result: Unconventional Counselor - Choose 1 trauma token to discard. Then choose a second trauma token at random to discard. Antagonistic Result: Primary Cylon - Place a basestar and 3 raiders in front of Galactica. Place 1 civilian ship behind Galactica.
Anastasia "Dee" Dualla (Communications)
Beneficial Result: CIC Officer - Look at every civilian ship on the game board and then you may move any number of them to adjacent areas. Antagonistic Result: Despondent - Draw 2 trauma tokens.
Conditions
Chief of Staff - Callandra "Cally" Tyrol (El Skid) - Before cards are added to a Skill check, this player may discard this card to make all Politics cards in the Skill check count as positive strength.

I would encourage our president to use his OPG on me if he doubts my meatiness, toastercakes.
I'm not the best at this game, but I'm pretty sure I picked the right destination & crisis card given our circumstances. I really did not want to give up 2 fuel for some extra distance (we would not have even made it to New Caprica yet).
Wait... why am I explaining myself to an appliance?
The other one was minus 2 fuel? Thats still an entire jump distance, think about how much time it takes to jump. All I'm saying is we should have a confirmed human scouting the destination deck and making sure we get premo options.

1 distance. Ugh
We would've been down to 3 Fuel and immediately have put our civvies at risk. I didn't like that idea, especially coming up on the Sleeper phase.
*shrug*
I think I'd be facing accusations no matter which Destination I chose.

You...you know Galen isn't Cally's father, right?

Nope. I did not know that at all.
All right, let's move to FTL and push the big shiny red button.
