So there's this little get together up in the northeast that comes around in 2 months. Perhaps you've heard of it? I haven't seen a thread pop up for it yet so I figured I would make one.

Anyway, PAX East. What's so special about that? Its got a LAN room



An exhibition floor



Concert hall



And a myriad of other excellent and awesome things to do.

Last year was my first PAX and it did not disappoint. I met a bunch of great people had a ton of great times and perfected the art of the first time PAX experience (paraphrasing DrZ)

This year, I would like to get to the things I missed out on. In particular: hanging out with you nerds.

Travel options:

Amtrak round trip Thursday-Sunday: $98 (from Penn Station to Boston Back Bay)
Greyhound round trip Thursday-Monday: $36 (from Port Authority Terminal to Boston)
Peter Pan Bus (Greyhound company) round trip Thursday-Monday: $28 (from Port Authority Terminal to Boston)
Bolt Bus (Greyhound company) round trip Thursday-Monday: $11-$30 (from Manhattan to Boston)

Those are all things I just looked up now. Bolt has a $1 one way to Boston if you book now for the 7:00 AM bus on Thursday.
