My wife is on bed rest just now, which is very boring. I'm looking for anyone who can link me up with anything amusing and fun that you know of on the internet so I can send it to her on facebook and keep her entertained for a few hours.

My post apparently didn't go through.
    I suggested Farmville.

    www.kongregate.com

Plenty of fun casual stuff there. And if she decides to play Pandemic, warn her about Madagascar.

What? Farmville isn't extremely popular for no reason...
    It's also a good time-waster.

    OP:
How about any of those bajillion fast-moving web games, e.g. Ikariam or Travian, or whatever other flavor you like?
    Maybe something like FreeCiv?
    Kingdom of Loathing?

Or what about joining forums and trolling them all day?

    Yes!

This, or if you're looking for something less damaging to human life, this.

Because it's highly addictive for people who are generally not gamers and have a lot of free time.

I don't think I or the baby are ready for either of these!

    To help with suggestions...
I hate Farmville, sorry but it is incredibly boring.
Last time I had to be in bed we had a Gamecube and I got really in to Luigi's Mansion. I am not a good gamer though, I never finished Luigi's Mansion because I can't jump for anything.
I will check out some of this other suggestions though... Robot Unicorn Attack is an intriguing name.

Kingdom of Loathing is actually very fun. If you read a lot, or you're into pop culture then there are a ton of inside jokes. I played for about 6 months a year ago. It's free, there is chat with a nice community, and it's easy to put aside.

Congratulations on the baby! Good to hear you're doing well.

Kingdom of Loathing is fun, all sorts of jokes and stuff.

The Daily Show and Colbert Report have full episodes online. In case you've missed it what with the whole baby thing.

Auditorium is funny sounds and puzzling. Doesn't require much in the way of timing.

sad trombone delivers exactly what you think it'll deliver.

Facebook games are normally extremely bad, but i've had hours of fun with GeoChallenge and WordChallenge. One tests your topography the other your ability to make words from random letters.

this site shows what NASA thought was representative of human life and has launched into space in case alien civilizations become interested in what planet they're going to blow up next.

This guy has beaten Sim City with maths. And this guy claims he has found the laws behind urbanity.

I hate you so hard right now. I started playing KoL again, and now I'm probably coming back to the Bazaar.
