Then Hugh Laurie became exec producer and then the show was just about jerking off to House's character and letting him run amok.
I understand that that was part of the show in the first three seasons, but it didn't feel like it was the entire show.
I made it all the way through Season 4 and the first few episodes of season 5 and then gave up.
God why am I so wrong about stuff.
What spring does with the cherry trees.
Every time I watch it I can never understand why the other doctors constantly refuse to listen to House even though he is right pretty much every time.
Maybe his drug addiction is a good reason. But not good enough
Which is a shame I think because I do really think House is great and it should be really popular
I think it is in the US but over here it's not really a widely seen thing at all.
She's very attractive, it's just I would like to play doctor with Olivia Wilde in the worst way.
If seasons were six episodes long, and they doubted him for four of them, fine. I could get that.
But, yeah, when you've got 22-episode seasons? That motherfucker is right A LOT. Maybe roll with that?
I haven't been able to watch more than a few episodes. Aside from the plots seeming to be virtually identical in every episode, I find House himself to be completely insufferable. Why is he so smarmy and arrogant when he just about kills people every episode before finally stumbling on the answer in the 11th hour?

The drama comes from his fellow doctors all coming from points where they have issues with how he goes about solving the problems for whatever reason. Ultimately House is right, but it's the path he's required to take to get there with all the people, feelings, rules, and ethics getting in the way. Also not killing the patients by accident.
The Season 1 finale, Season 2 where he has to help his ex-wife's fiance, Season 3 with the drug cop, and the one where Foreman and that cop get that disease.
Those are all re-watchable.

yeah i had never seen this show before until i was laid out with a hangover one day a couple years ago
its really obvious formula gets to be oddly soothing by the third or fourth episode
