This is pretty straight forward. My feet are always cold, even in socks, in my house. It's warm in the house and nothing else is cold but my feet. I wear pajama socks and regular socks but they don't do the trick. I want to get a nice pair of slippers and I'm looking for suggestions. Years ago I have a paid of the LL Bean moccasin style and liked that they covered my whole foot. I'm looking to spend $50 at most so where would be a good place to look?

the fleece lined ones are also nice, but i'd stay away from shearing-lined ones. shearing is super comfy at first but after about a month of use if you wear them for a few hours a day they start to clump and wear away the lining.
fleece will last a bit longer, but i've never had a pair last more than a year, the leather lined ones are going strong for 2 years now.

They are the shearing lined ones. I agree they can get a little clumpy under the toes, but are still super super comfy and warm.
I had the same problem and two pairs of socks plus a blanket can't hold a candle to my red plaid slippers.
I have similar slippers and to keep them from getting clumpy I brush them with a cat brush, not too rough. It fluffs it up and removes clumps.
