Having a horrible southern accent of my own, it always annoys me to no end when actors do their own southern accent, so I know how Brits feel when Americans do the voice. Although I'm frequently impressed with actors who do a mid-western accent (as I call it, the Hollywood accent). The two that come to mind instantly are Hugh Laurie, and the New Zealander Lucy Lawless.
