Hello, you may now embed "gifv" simply by pasting the link (same as youtube). Enjoy!
Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

sure would be nice if I could get tickets to COMIC-CON

We'll meet at the train station, it'll be like out of the Railway Children.

My granddad was a Rolling Stock Inspector for British Rail and when he saw that film version with me he pointed out that the train would've taken much longer to stop than it did and would've crushed that girl!

    ...thanks, granddad!

Stupid Bobby, serves her right for waving her petticoats around!

edit: Whoa, that is mental. I'd say your best bet is to nick a Boris Bike and cycle all the way up north.

YaYa that is pretty cool actually. If I ever make my way to Sand Diego for comic-con we gotta chill.

Liya and Ed. I just checked National Rail and to get up north would cost me between 48-105 pounds. I'd pay 48 but 105 is actually mad.

    Bloody hell. That's just stupid.

Well okay, next time I'm in the area you need to magically become aware of that fact and text me and we'll go have a drink

Alright if I were to hop a coach tomorrow I would pay 15 pounds for a 2 hour trip to London which is fanatic because I wanted to pick up some stuff and see Harry Potter (which is the only place still playing it)

A coach to Sheffield/Manchester would cost 25 pounds for a 7 hour trip. Not as terrible.

Closed for being another terrible Yaya thread.

Will the next person please put convention and registration info in their OP, thanks.

PS.I hope I can get tickets. Last year was a blast hanging out with forumers and going to things like the special panel w/ Khoo, Kris and Scott.

Yes!! Bogey!! We need to hang and talk about Tron. Also, ALSO-

Ten is the best for securing tickets.

The trick was realising that once the little spinny thing in Chrome turns blue and changes direction, the page request was finished, so I could always tell when I was going to get the busy page and refresh again straight away. Still, what a clusterfuck.

Son of a bitch. I bought my tickets about 30 minutes in and it told me they were sold out of 4 day passes so I bought all one day passes. I hope they come up with something better next year because obviously this year was an epic fail several times over.

I'll crawl around in your tall grass.

Oh and I guess London does have a Comic-Con

    http://www.londonexpo.com/

I discovered this whilst considering joining a science fiction society at uni. I'm skeptical because then I would be a card-carrying loser and not just a secret one
