    We need to designate a team of people who can decide which strategies are too dickish to use. Right now it depends on which person you're asking, so I'd really like a set in stone type deal. Especially since strategies are easy to test with PO.

    I'm probably not going to online battle with you people because you use strategies and shit and that takes the fun out of the games for me. My idea of fun is everybody on my team using beams.

    Complaints about cheap strategies are mind games by casual players to make you hesitant to use strategies that they do not. It is an elaborate and unconsciously done troll.

    When you play someone and they beat you, your response should simply be "Good game." It should not be "Dammit X is so cheap" or "If I had done X then you woulda been creamed." Respect your opponent enough to not degrade them in the afterglow of their win.

    Extremely competitive players use similiar mind games as this in the form of trash talking. The objective is the same, you attempt to get under your opponent's skin and make them hesitant to act on their first instinct. Trash talking is an extremely effective way for a less skilled player to dominate a more skilled player by rattling their self confidence

    The thing that annoys be about all players, competitive and casual, good and bad, every player anywhere, is the caveats after a match is over. How they try to explain how if things were different, that they would have won. Where they do not let the person who won take credit for the victory. Instead, they try to blame their loss on an insurmountable amount of factors. The world would be a better place and matches would be a lot more fun to have if people would admit that the reason they lost is the other person.

    I have respect for people who can properly use strategy in this game. I use all sorts of strategy when I play yugioh games on my ds.

    Well, before they started making everything all 3d and doing any one turn took a week.

    I'm going to take a baby step and have my Scrafty do that strategy one of you homps posted for me in the last thread.

    i just dont use magnezone

    have always just stuck with my childhood mantra "if they're legendaries they are a poopoo head for using them"

    although in modern terms i just dont like using pokes that cant breed

    because like

    fuck soft resetting

    and secondly they usually tend to be really good and i cant be arsed to obsess over having a good pokemon when i cant breed one up when i want to

    and if i like, soft reset for a jolly one and then a super cool moveset comes out that requires adamant im all like

    boner deflate

    magnezone and metagross and electrode can all breed with Ditto, right? I've never tried it.

    Sometimes I try to breed for a nature not because it will help, but because I like the idea of that nature on that specific pokemon.
