Also the Summer of Stever Romance series seemed to passed over by many too fast. Do we call the first romance daniver or steviant? I like steviant since it would most likely involve devious stuff.

I promised myself I wouldn't vote for myself on Day 1... but still... so tempting...
It would be a good idea for cake and pie to keep the battle low until the mafia has been killed. If there are conversions there may be so few cake + pie left in the end that converting everyone to one side wont be too hard.
If you look at the last cake vs pie, the mafia won because of the villages inner conflicts. And me killing my own teams seer day 1.

Why is everyone echoing this? ITS DAY ONE. Surely no one begins the game with knowledge of other factions, so why is this an issue today?
I feel like all the people echoing this are trying to meld in with everyone else and we might find some mafia there.
Technically we can't really go after anyone right now, as nobody know what is what and who is who. How do we know that one of the factions is not the evil mafia? Or is that how this works?
So some of you can already tell which people are in which faction? Wow.
