Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

Feel free to close this thread if this is too irreverent, but Every epic event needs it's own haiku thread. Here, I'll start with a few.

A gamer mecca
Wil Wheaton is our Ryan

The sound of a soul breaking
Khoo runs by at PAX

I remember the video last year of some people actually using the "haikhoo" line to Khoo and read him a haiku. The look on his face...He was not amused.

    Your number of friends.
    Cite Thousands? Impossible.
    Forever alone.

    Home? Yes I am home.
Home is when I'm here with you.

    silly gamer folks
    cannot tell the two apart;
    haiku and senryu

Some people are like Slinkies. They have no practical use whatsoever,
but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

    A senryu for you
    Because learning is so fun.
    Hope you enjoy it.

    Just googled those two.
    Never heard of senryu but
    I am now informed.
