Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it,
follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given
their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

I'll duo q with you if you want and see if I can save you from a fate worse than death
Are you at roughly 50/50 win loss?
granted I only played a couple of games so far in ranked so maybe the points will even out later
and I have slightly worse k/d ratio than on average (which just changed recently as a result of my loss streak)
but I think it's fair say that I'm not a feeder and I pull my weight (mostly)
it's just that there's a much higher chance that people leave mid-game or feed like no tomorrow on my team
and I main Kog, who is, well, really squishy and I think depends heavily on the team, and it doesn't help if Blitcrank pulls lvl 7 Xin right to me
Found it in the screenshot yo
just entered a ranked game D:
are you tiny crab eh something something?
e: and while typing this I forgot to lock in my champion and randomly got Amumu - which could have been worse I think
MAYBE
all I could see is that you are not a consistent hyper feeder, which is a good start
but how is your laning? how is your game sense? mechanics in general? farming? kiting? spacing? last hitting? dodging and juking? do you know what you can get away with and what you can't get away with?
I'll come to that once I'm done with the match
happens to me sometimes
but I just think of it as the reverse of a win streak and ignore it because I'm that cool

laning: I'm doing okay in the laning phase as Kog. When I have to mid (I try to avoid this with Kog) there are quite a few champions who are a huge pain (mostly the ones who can combo me to death at lvl 6), but I rarely die. Side lane is another matter - if my laning partner is overly aggressive or outright suicidal, I have the tendency to try to get him out of a mess and die horribly instead of or with him. In general, I'm much more of a defensive (not passive) laner and try to take chunks out of my opponents hp bar whenever the opportunity arises, but I don't like to get too close if there's too much risk involved because, did I mention that I feel that Kog is really squishy? And slow. And doesn't have a reliable escape ability. And isn't so great for laning in the first place.
mechanics: not sure what you mean with this, things like zoning, scouting and backdooring? I think I have these covered, to a certain degree
farming and last hitting: I try to not push the lane too much, and after lvl 6 I usually have an easy time clearing creep waves. I'll admit that my last-hitting abilities are still quite poor, mainly because I often have a 300+ ping and I overestimate my damage output in the early levels, and things can become a little hectic
kiting: not too hard, unless I have to deal with a burst-heavy or very mobile champion
dodging an juking: dodging I can do just fine (despite the high ping). Juking is something I still need to learn
as for the last question: as I normally play rather cautiously, I don't often walk into a trap and don't chase enemies when it gets too risky. My teammates do. And expect me to follow. Which doesn't work so well if basically anything can make me instantly explode (literally). I often find myself getting more kills with my passiv than through other means simply because I don't have the time to position myself way behind my team when it comes to a fight. It's all about flanking with Kog Maw, I guess.
Of course, this also changes from champion to champion.
Jarvan since he gives everyone an attack speed buff as well
LoL!!!!!
I last-hit okayish in a solo lane, much harder to do in a duo lane though. Often I'm not even the main carry, as there are usually 2-3 AD carries in the team (which ain't necessarily bad thing because I do mostly magic damage anyways). Also playing Janna (or any support) outside of an arranged team is just about the most frustrating thing you can do, in my experience.
ghostblade triforce sword of the divine
ghost teleport
beast towers every day
drop wards in their base then kill their towers
BE THE WEAPON
I'm just saying this to save you the trouble, as this game doesn't have much (if any) compensating netcode for high pings. To be an effective kog, you either need to be killing mans constantly (hit or miss) or getting the last hits on most of the creeps in the lane.
I have a hard enough time last-hitting on around 100 ping, so I can't imagine the frustration of 300. Something like jungling and/or tanking is less ping-dependent, so you can be as effective as a LPB.
Thank you.
- Always gank Noxians
- Find the oldest player in the game and tell them they belong in a museum
1 taric stun in a bad location and you'll lose 300-400 hp from RIGHT AGAINST THE WALLLLL plus shatter plus DEVASTATING LOLLYPOP
So they were doing it right. Makes me feel better.
And Cutfang? Hi5. Fo realz.
This may have something to do with picking up Swain on patch day. More minions = swain buffed.
Jarvan cares not for minions who think they are stronger.
My first impression is that I mind it because it's a damn chore.
"Oh noes, the bread is still in the oven! I need to run home a second." And then pushing is over.
I am good with all of this, and do quite better than anyone else in my game and I still can't get above 1150.
ELO hell isn't just a bad streak of games, it is an ELO bracket where the majority of games are ruined by feeders, trollers, AFKers or leavers.
Actually I am going to stream a game right now, solo queue ranked

Sion Jarvan Shen Malphite Olaf Xin Oak Nasus Nunu
just mix and match them.
However, last night, playing as Jarvan, I laned alongside a Heimer. He basically put down turrets then AFK'd in the bushes, and I defended the turrets while farming minions. When we got to the enemy turret he harrassed with long range abilities until enemies were low, then I dove in, killed them, and we took the turret. Repeat.
We raped so hard.

What typically counters tanky dps anyway? Ashe probably, or focus fire or Olaf funnily enough. Actually when I play Udyr Anivia tends to destroy me. Or a fed Yi with support.
Damn it i want to watch this since I'm just starting to get into playing as Zil. damn classes

Game sounds are a bit high, especially compared to your voice. At least, I assume that's your voice, all I hear is mumbling.
His double attack timing with bite works so well with Wriggles, and even though I didn't get any of those super pro "block the really small escape route" slow pillars, just slapping them down in front of enemies or on top of them slows them enough to run over and whack on them. And the cooldown for it is very reasonable.
I just need to work on my jungling speed / efficiency.
