well if he's telling the truth, and it sounds like he is it seems like no one was expecting it.
well he's in the double digits for both the WWE/WHC and for tag championships, so that puts him at least in the mid 20s
Did he ever win any of the mid card belts?
If so, fuck, that's half of my favorite tag team of all time gone.

it sounded like the plan was for him to retire in the next 6months to a year, but after Mania they found out his injuries were way worse than they originally thought
I imagine they wanted to let him retire as champion given all he's done for the company. It isn't the best booking decision, but it was probably the right thing to do for him considering (if this is legit) he nearly crippled himself for the company.
Well, if this is legit(such a dangerous word in the world of wrestling), I think he said that he had more tests done after Wrestlemania, and those are the ones that told him that he can't wrestle anymore.
It was a really odd segment. I think everyone was waiting for some sort of interruption-whether it be a heel or a face coming out or something.

Yes, he had said that he passed all the required tests before Wrestlemania but then after had more tests and the conclusion was made that he needs to retire and walk away now before he can no longer walk.

Huh, I didn't expect New Nexus to come back at all. This was a meh way to bring them back IMO.
I really wonder what Edge will do now. I honestly loved his attitude through the whole thing, and from the way he talked it looked like he would simply law low for awhile. Though I do wonder if he will just end up moving backstage. I don't think he has much else going that he can move on to.
