Do they not know how fucking annoying Michael Cole is? It really makes me not to attempt to get back into watching Raw on a weekly basis. Like, he is REALLY fucking annoying. Not in a heel way. In an annoying asshole way that makes me want to change the channel.
What the hell is wrong with them? NO NO NO NO. This is just... what the fuck? A tag match? I've seen JR in the ring. I would rather watch a whole week of King matches than that again. Thats just wrong.
So, is this Edge retiring legit? It doesn't really come off as fake but wow that feels like bad timing. But thankfully he is retiring while he can still walk out of the ring.

well if he's telling the truth, and it sounds like he is it seems like no one was expecting it.
Edge winning more championships than anyone in the history of the company. Is that true, or is that current story and only WWE titles true?
Well:
# World Heavyweight Championship (7 times, current)
# World Tag Team Championship (12 times) – with Christian (7), Chris Benoit (2), Hulk Hogan (1), Randy Orton (1) and Chris Jericho (1)
# WWE Championship (4 times)
# WWF/E Intercontinental Championship (5 times)
# WCW United States Championship (1 time)1
# WWE Tag Team Championship (2 times) – with Rey Mysterio (1) and Chris Jericho (1)
21 titles overall. Anyone else have more?
This looks pretty legit. He left the title in the ring and no one came out to break it up.

If he was going to retire in a week, why not put Del Rio over him at Wrestlemania?
it sounded like the plan was for him to retire in the next 6months to a year, but after Mania they found out his injuries were way worse than they originally thought

I imagine they wanted to let him retire as champion given all he's done for the company. It isn't the best booking decision, but it was probably the right thing to do for him considering (if this is legit) he nearly crippled himself for the company.

Well, if this is legit(such a dangerous word in the world of wrestling), I think he said that he had more tests done after Wrestlemania, and those are the ones that told him that he can't wrestle anymore.
It was a really odd segment. I think everyone was waiting for some sort of interruption-whether it be a heel or a face coming out or something.

This does look legit. Having everyone backstage clapping him a good send off, faces and heels in and out of character. It really does feel like and end of an era of wrestling.
Yes, he had said that he passed all the required tests before Wrestlemania but then after had more tests and the conclusion was made that he needs to retire and walk away now before he can no longer walk.

wow, really? that's just.... is it bad that i want to see him smash the computer one more time?
This isn't a classic gauntlet match, but a chain of random matches where the last winner is the #1 contender. It is nice to have something different but just feels meh. I expect Cena to win since Orton was out first.
Huh, I didn't expect New Nexus to come back at all. This was a meh way to bring them back IMO.
I really wonder what Edge will do now. I honestly loved his attitude through the whole thing, and from the way he talked it looked like he would simply law low for awhile. Though I do wonder if he will just end up moving backstage. I don't think he has much else going that he can move on to.
No, Dolph got the win in a roll up and a hand full of tights I think after New Nexus distracted Orton. So, for Dolph that was one of his cleanest wins recently I think.

EDIT: Hi5 Kurn.
well if he's telling the truth, and it sounds like he is it seems like no one was expecting it.
well he's in the double digits for both the WWE/WHC and for tag championships, so that puts him at least in the mid 20s
Did he ever win any of the mid card belts?
If so, fuck, that's half of my favorite tag team of all time gone.
Per Wikipedia, he's been a WWE champ of some sort 31 times. 11 time World or WWE, 14 time Tag, 5 IC titles, and 1 US Title.

I really wonder what this means for the WHC.

Also, fuck...that came out of nowhere. I wasn't expecting it so soon, but he had been talking up the retirement possibility a lot recently.
I'm just stunned.
