Dang man ain't no reason to align with some elderly lady and a college dude that smells like top ramen and generic mountain dew, but that doesn't mean giving up on making the world a better taco joint. That's why you should start your own volunteer organization that accepts top ramen as payment for a nice steak taco and some crispy stellas. but now that I am reading it again, i think it's a great idea. we could name the organization tacos for humanity, anjin. or maybe habitat for tacos.

My first recent attempt at volunteering kind of sucked. I did some minor upkeep at a local science and nature center, which was basically me sweeping the dino pit(fake buried bones) or walking around watering plants.

Last fall I started volunteering for Breakthrough, which follows kids from 7th or 8th grade through to high school graduation, with the hopes of making them the first in their family to attend college. It's pretty cool tutoring the kids, even if occasionally some of them make me frustrated by being deadset against studying.

I volunteer at the aquarium. I want to work at the conservation carts and eventually be able to go off-site for it. I did some volunteering with the MassEquality and Charles River Conservancy before we moved. I'm going to try and get involved with Georgia Equality down here.

in all seriousness, to all of the people that are concerned about shyness when volunteering, the really cool thing is that people that volunteer generally are very nice and accomodating.
