I want to try this, too. I haven't really paid much attention to B/W news and I'm like 3 hours into it and it feels like Red did to me when I first played that.

I'm gonna avoid trading my other Pokémon into the game for a while. I think that's what burnt me out on HeartGold so quickly

Are there any new evolutions/pre-evolutions of Pokémon from the older games? I thought I heard that older Pokémon don't even show up until after you finish B/W, so I'd assume not, but I'm just wondering

there are pokemon which were at one point clearly intended to be evolutions simply from their designs but apparently are just an instance of convergent pokemon evolution (mixing up real and pokemon evolution ugh)

Did anyone else find the Giovanni event to be laughably easy? I was expecting him to be the perpetual badass that he is, but when he led with level 30's I died a little inside.

they really should have scaled to your level or at least have been between levels 60 and 70

because White has a bunch of pokemon, which is nice for dudes that play alone and not so important for dudes that trade

and black has more items and trainers, which isn't that important to someone who is just playing the singleplayer but is nice for someone who is going to be doing online stuff

or at least that's the impression I got

the items you can buy in black city apparently show up sometimes just hangin' around on the ground in white forest anyways
not terrible reliable, but these items look to all be sold for cash or evolutionary stones, and this thread is all you need for evolutionary stone hookups anyways

the handful of higher-level trainers is a thing, but elite four grinding is also still a thing, so
