Yeah, I'm holding out for better weather on Friday to head up to Grouse. Hells pizza? That can't be the same store that they have in NZ? Do they do dessert pizzas?

Same place, and yes, they have dessert pizzas. I think the place is weird but my NZ friend says its completely true to the original and loves it.

It's an aquired taste. I may have to talk my cousin into going there so I can show her dessert pizza!

Thanks for all the customs advice so far guys, you'd think I'd be better at this by now. Going to see the Vancouver international auto show today, lots of shiny cars, hell yeah! :winky:

Wait, by IMAX do you mean the OMNIMAX at Science World? Or the IMAX at Canada Place on the waterfront downtown?

The latter no longer exists :(

    What? D: Dang!

And yeah, Vij's is one of the top East Indian restaurants in North America, if not the very best. Really popular. They have some insanely brilliant chefs there.

May just have to try it. I took the advice here and had my first sushi yesterday. I enjoyed it and was blown away by how cheap it was.

Also can I say guys, if you have even a passing interest in cars, go to the convention centre. For $15 that is some of the finest live car porn I've ever seen.

Yeah, the Vancouver Auto Show is pretty legendary, I've never been but I've heard great things about it.

Consider yourself lucky by the way. We truly have cheap sushi. Even out in Eastern Canada, sushi will be AT LEAST 1.5x as expensive, if not twice as much for the same amount of food. Try finding a dozen cucumber rolls for 2.50 in ontario, or a huge six piece California Roll for 3.50. Just can't be done.

Take it from us, there are a lot of things in Vancouver us natives take for granted. We're truly blessed.

So my wife and I will be in Vancouver this weekend. She is a vegetarian and it will likely be raining. What are some fun and/or sexy things we can do this weekend that haven't been covered?

Did we mention the Aquarium in Stanley Park in here yet? It is, after all, the home of the most adorable thing in the world.

I'm a straight guy in my 20s and I squee audibly every time I see those otters.

Though they aren't quite the same otters any more. Nyac died a few years ago.

edit: As7, you might want to try Cafe Deux Soleils, acclaimed vegetarian restaurant and cafe on Commercial Drive.
