I took it as name dropping... for those that either know the show, or dont

I liked when abed said the writers of the show contacted him about his fan-page... and jeff said "for work?"

Well, it appears to be a well-endowed evolved human being staring at a gorgeous hard-working student in the midst of a good ol' fashion taaaaaaaantrum.

NJ Dwarf Couple Sues Cable Channel For Defamation

A dwarf couple from southern New Jersey has filed a defamation lawsuit against a cable television channel that used a doctored photo of the pair to spoof reality television shows.

Cara and Gibson Reynolds say the sketch — which aired in 2009 on E! Entertainment Channel's "Talk Soup" — caused them much emotional distress. The Collingswood couple — who are achondroplastic dwarfs — seek more than $50,000 in compensatory and punitive damages in the suit filed in Philadelphia Common Pleas court.

The show used a photo of the couple holding hands on their front porch. It was taken by a photographer for The Associated Press for a 2006 story on couples who have genetic conditions and are trying to conceive.

In the sketch, the show superimposed tattooed babies in pageant sashes and lingerie supermodels on the photo to illustrate a fake reality show it called "Fertile Little Tattooed Pageant Parents Who Enjoy Baking."

Besides the cable channel, the suit also names Comcast — which owns E! — and "Talk Soup" host Joel McHale.

Telephone messages left Wednesday for Comcast, the Reynolds and their lawyer were not immediately returned.

Bit of a stretch to say "McHale sued by dwarfs!" since he's just a small part of a lawsuit against E!/Comcast, but he is named.

Huh. The first episode that focused on Pierce's exclusion from the group involved him using an RC device called a Dragon flyer. The next episode with this focus, the D&D one, had Pierce flying a dragon. Huh.

Pierce got the RC because it was the thing everyone was doing the week prior.... by the time he got the RC they were already into basketball. By the time he was ready for basketball they had moved on to the trampoline

Im not sure why you think theres a relation to the DND episode, they were not related besides the word "dragon"

Well, Pierce keeps seeing Andy Dick, who is chasing the dragon. That's a lot of lizard to be a coincidence.

It just sounds like a lot of "Ride the Snake" style references.

Not every single thing in Community is some deep, meta commentary on something.

It's pretty obviously a reference to Pierce's homosexuality.

    Hey everybody!

New episode this Thursday! Competitive Wine Tasting, summary below:
The study group begin to choose their spring electives, Britta and Troy explore an acting class, while Abed picks a course that studies the 1980s sitcom Who's the Boss? taught by Professor Sheffield (Stephen Tobolowsky) who has written a book on the subject. Meanwhile, Jeff and Pierce take a wine tasting class, where Pierce meets a mysterious Chinese woman named "Wu Mei" (Michelle Krusiec) who quickly begin a romance where she agrees to marry Pierce. Jeff gets suspicious of Wu Mei's actions and tries to figure out what is really going on.

Now, Abed has said (in the drunk dial episode) he could never get past the opening credits of Who's the Boss, be on the lookout to see if they remember this point.
