    Iruka, I love the new skulls! Huge improvement imo. So clean and way easier to see all the forms. I also love the flow of the image.

    Iruka - thannk you. this project is really helping me to develop my ideas and to get out of my comfort zone. i bought the imagine fx special issue on human and animal anatomy this week. has lots of good refs for horses!

    heres some shiz from today for one of my other character concepts - the antichrist character
    basically going in the direction of 'badass jesus'

    It was either the angry-face or giving you the trademark Errol Flynn-as-Robin Hood smile, and (no offense) I just didn't think sporting a pencil mustache was the look for you. :P

    Threw some color on here, quickly exposing a lot of the structural weirdnesses that happen when working in that other style.

    That's what I thought you meant, just wanted to be sure. Thanks for the compliment/observation. :) Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm going to try and not "ink" anything digitally really (unless I magically get awesome at it)anymore and if I need to do black and white force myself to use nibs or something. Need to do more painting too. >.<

    Have you tried some programs other than PS? There are some notable differences between Paint Tool Sai, OC and Alias sketchbook that might be worth looking into for the digital side.

    I have more problems nowadays with roaches than hydras mid/late game. Roach speed plus carapace upgrades = death 2 stalkers + Zealots :(
