    The Kinect's facial recognition feature is pretty scary. I can now walk in front of the sensor, and it'll recognize me and log me into XBox Live.

    the kinect is a neat piece of technology

    the move is a glorified wiimote

    neither are really super practical but the kinect is way more interesting, at least

    My like for the kinect is a fickle beast, I mean I think the tech is super neat.

    But I can't remember the last time I used it aside waving my arm around in the dash board and marveling at the model it makes.

    They still need master their 1x1 ratio in certain games, especially games like Fighters Uncaged.

    I'm just going to assume that these kind of games are dev kits.

    It's so hard to sell the Move in the face of the Kinect's obvious Future-ness

    But at the same time, I feel like the Move actually has proven fidelity and precision and the Kinect

    well

    it's sort of like first gen Wii games where you flail your arms around and things happen, but instead of just your arms you flail your whole body

    Maybe they can make it work with compelling games but every time I try to think of how that would work I can't figure it out

    Maybe that Steel Battalion game will prove me wrong!

    I honestly don't give a shit about the Kinect either. I just have zero interest currently and am quite happy with using a controller while sitting on the couch. Besides, both usagi and I have frequent moments of extreme klutz and I suspect a Kinect would just lead to us breaking things frequently.
