Planning for ANZPAX is technically already underway but I have just been way too busy to do SHIT about it. Possible destinations have been expanded to include New Zealand. Or we could just invade realPAX as a cohort.

This thread remains for CityPAXes in the meantime, and also talking about how Aussies are pretty cool when they are not underwater or on fire.

    There was some rude scene kid on the bus today.

    Bus is packed as always when I get out of class at 5pm. So I get on with my friend after this dude right, and I'm talking to my friend while we're both standing until we get to the first major train station that the bus passes, heaps of people empty off. I'm standing off to one side to let people out, my friend on the other.
    A pair of seats open up, and so do a few single places to sit, so my friend sits down in the pair, and this other guy moves forwards from behind and quickly sneaks in to sit down next to my mate while I'm standing off to let people get off the bus. There were plenty of other seats and I was still talking to my friend and he just sits there. Why I don't understand.

    Get out of your own little world and pay attention to things around you.
    The vibe I got from the dude was that he didn't want to talk to anyone that wasn't part of his society of people with mismatched clothing colours.
    Then all the other seats got taken so I just stood, but now this dude was sitting right in the middle of where I wanted to talk.

    The correct thing to do would've been to talk really loudly over his face, and bump into him constantly.

    Or just ask him to move to a spare seat so you could sit with your friend.

    But the overriding impression I got when I visited Christchurch was that New Zealand does not, in fact, exist. It's mostly a facade they put on to fool visitors into thinking LOTR was complete fantasy
