Aw shit yeah lets do this, some Ace of Spades. Voxel powered Team-based CTF with fully destructable/constructable procedurally generated terrain. If you get motion sick really really easy this might not be a good idea but try anyway.

Get the game client here, its the only mirror at the moment.
Head on over to the server list to get playing.
[Note: Only the master server is running at the moment, but the server client is packed in with the installer, if you wanna run a server go for it, it'll show instantly on the server list. (Remember to open port 32887)]
Game Information
Alright so you got the client installed, your in the game, you have 5 items, its foggy, and you want to vomit cause looking down makes you sick. Now What Meta?
Glad you asked, just gonna brief you right here right now right here.
Controls: Simple shit people
Movement: W,S,A,D | Jump: Space | Crouch: Ctrl | Fire: Left Mouse | Ironsights: Right Mouse
Allchat: T | Teamchat: Y | Send Message: Enter | Change Weapon: 1-5, Mouse Wheel
Change Block Color: Arrow Keys | Sample world Color: Right Mouse | Map: M | Scores: Tab
Join Blue Team: B | Join Green Team: G | Volume: +/- Keypad | Quit: Esc
Jump and crouch in the air to get out of the water.
Change your name in the config file.
What now?: CP & Intel
Alright so you got a map, that shit is mad useful, check out this modified map that I personally modified modification so you can tell whats buckets from shit.
You got a Capture Point, that is where you take intel, and receive ammo/health/blocks. Looks a lot like the thing in this picture, almost identical.
The Enemy got some Intel you want, but they want yours so watch out cause they gonna get it. Its usually a briefcase with a colored arrow on it.

Are there any plans for to be implemented features as of yet? At the moment, I'm only at liberty to say that different weapons will definitely be an addition, any other ideas are not yet concrete.
Although if it puts you at ease, any comments or suggestions made during regular playtimes will be heard and considered by the dev himself, bcoolface. (This won't always be the case)
Although if you want to share ideas, AoS does have a Forum.

Or rather, jump then crouch in midair, jumping from a crouch doesn't work

[So its minecraft] yes cause its a sandbox, no to everything else.
[Water kills me] You have to Crouch jump out of water (as in crouch in the air) because you can't destroy the lowest level of terrain which is at water level, it is meant to encourage building over water; as it also slows you down, makes grenades useless, etc.
I got distracted while typing the OP, but I was going to say that cause theres no way to know to do that otherwise.

Also if you want to change your name you have to do it in the config file.

The config file is created right there, if you look in your start menu you just click on it and its the third line down out of the 4-5 lines on the entire thing.

note: if you try to finagle with the permissions in the config that will cause you to crash like a motherfucker as well. just do what marsh said and it will work.
If you would please PM me your system specs, just do that dxdiag shit or give me all you know and I'll see to it BCF catalogues that shit up and see if we can give you an immediate solution, or assure you that you can play in later phases of the game.
