My parents decided to get a new puppy. A small chocolate lab. They need a name. So far they have Chestnut and Bunny (as in Chocolate Bunny).

Something that has a lot of shortened nicknames that you can repeat and cutsie voices is a plus too!
Annabel? --> Ann, Anna, Annie, Bell, Bella, Annabooboo, Bellaliscious, Annabannabanana to name a few
Kit Kat - Often shortend to Kit
Hershey - Again gets shornted to Hersh
Mars - She get lengthened to Marses, or Mars Bar.
Then you can say "Four for you Glen Coco, you go Glen Coco!"

I always think Female dogs should have a human girl name like Abbie or Lucy. Male dogs should not have human names, something like Cosmonaught(Cosmo) or Kicker.
