Could you give an example? I read both translations that came out today (and in past weeks), and haven't had any problems. I've also reread the chapters in Jump Alpha just to see how the translation differs, and the biggest thing I find is just spelling of names.
Best volume cover since the first one post-timeskip.
I take it you haven't been following the manga up to date?

It really varies from person to person to be honest. In the very beginning I definitely preferred the show to the comic, particularly because the first few arcs of the manga suffered a lot of problems in my eyes; bad panel placement, confusing setup/executions of certain concepts, etc. I watche the tv show up to around Skypeia, where the manga art started becoming solid enough for me to trust without feeling like I'm missing out on too much. Once things settle to Water 7 the manga art becomes rock solid and the show became more secondary.
Each has it's strengths and weaknesses; scenes like Crocodile's epic takedown set to Dvorak's Third Movement of New World Symphony were outstanding and impossible to duplicate in the printed medium, much like how certain jokes get lost in transition when moved to animation.
I will say that if you're thinking about jumping in to the series via show from the start, you need to invest a lot of time out of your schedule to make it work. That's something I had a lot more of back in my highschool days, definitely not now that I'm starting my mid-20's
Movie 7!
Other than Movie 6 and Strong World I don't believe any of the others are worth viewing. Hopefully this "Z" movie turns out at least as interesting as last years.
Edit - 336 is Chopperman. I'm glad they're bringing in the sillier stuff too!
As far as the movies go all of them have that anime movie non canon filler but with more expensive animation feel. You'll know this feeling if you've ever watched a DBZ or Pokémon movie.
1. Is short and sweet. Not great, but not terrible.
2. Is sort of interesting.
3. Is terrible.
4. Isn't half bad.
5. Completely unmemorable. Something about an island and a death curse?
6. Was the best movie before Strong World.
7. Besides the boob jiggle this isn't half bad. With the boob jiggle it is pretty good!
8+9. Weird Remakes. Drum Island in particular makes no sense.
10. Strong World. Oda has his hand in it. Still feels like a movie in that the events don't quite fit in with the storyline but it could have maybe been an actual OP arc. Maybe.
11. Apparently Mugiwara Chase counts as a movie. It's really short and sort of reminds me of 3D Dragon Quest. It's pretty decent actually.
Movie 2 would like a word with you...
So far I've only seen that one, 2,4 and the first half of Strong World. I enjoyed all of them, but 4 and Strong World are my favorites thus far.
At the Otakon panel, someone asked about the other movies, and Funimation said that they're considering bringing them, but no plans yet. They also said that Strong World is coming out in 2013, so we'll be getting a dub voice for Brook long before the anime reaches TB.
End of next year for all that would be fine by me.
RE: tonight's episode, man that was pretty sweet. Even spoiled ahead of time with Franky's new stuff I loved every second of it
Tonight's new episode was also amazing as usual. A new docking sequence for youtube!
Woo! Finally. Been waiting to see that one forever.

Like I said, don't count on it.
They've got about 130 episodes to crank out in total, which will likely be spread out over ten or eleven sets. First one just came out, next one is in a few months. A set every three months means we're looking at two and a half years or so. Even if they start going once every two months(and I really don't see it going any faster than that), it's still gonna take till early/mid 2014 to get through to 336.
A shame they can't do, say, 26 episode sets every couple of months. It would fit the pacing of the show a lot better and actually help us start catching up to Japan but I think if that were a viable way to go they'd already be doing it.
That's what it looks like. Season 5 has a Summer 2013 date, which judging by Season 4 means as late as next August. They will probably crank out a season a year for sanity's sake. While we will never catch up to Japan, as soon as Season 6 is covered we will have official translations for every non-special episode.
Bulge is bottom spot this week, and was bottom spot last week.
I think movies 4 and 6 were the best. Strong World looked the best, but that's because they threw the entire budget into that one.
Movie 2 was forgettable.
That's a shame, it's starting to pick up. I wonder if SJA readers will ever get to fill out weekly surveys? I guess that wouldn't be super helpful if our magazine remains 2 weeks behind forever, but one can hope.
