I wish they'd patch in the ability to give warriors 6 skills. It seems silly that they only get 3. I understand WHY, given the system, but seems like they could have changed it for this one class so it'd feel more diverse.
I just got the Arisen's Bond item. Does it basically set the highest possible affinity for the NPC I give it to and "bond" them to me for the end-game material? Selena is my highest affinity character right now, to the point where she's living in my house, but I'm guessing if I were to give the item to a different NPC it would set the priority to that character instead of Selena, correct?

Holy crap, night-time is terrifying. Like, I've heard it said in this thread and by characters in the game, but I never really believed it.
Granted, I've only just now gotten to the first big city, but I was used to the goblins and bandits on the road between your home town and the first fort.
Then I get to the capital and I find a sidejob on the bulletin board to escort someone somewhere. No big deal. Almost night-time? No sweat.
About two minutes outside of town, bigass zombie crowd fight.
Keep on going.
Cyclops? No sweat, been there done that. Wait, we just stumbled onto some witches that can knock out my health in one shot. Oh, shit.
Ok, dance around, get my pawns back up, take down the cyclop, take out most of the witches.
OH, SHIT, IS THAT A CHIMERA ATTACKING THOSE WITCHES TOO?

I love this game.
I've been out in the woods at night. I used to live in the woods. It's pretty much like that.
(The night looks right in the game. That's what night looks like.)
Think I'm finished with the game now that I've ended it and beat the Ur-Dragon a few times. I have put a massive amount of hours into it as it fortuitously fell at the end of my degree and it's one of my stand out titles of the year. I'm not really one for replaying games though and will probably only revisit it if there is some decent DLC added and not more of the token quests.
Its the house just before the path up to the elders in the starting village (right next to the inn)
Yep, though as far as I can tell you can't actually do anything in it. Sleep in your bed? Nope! It seems like it's just a place for your love interests to hang out in.
I think you DO sleep in your bed; when you go to the inn you're just buying beds for the Pawns. That's why it's so cheap.
Pawns don't sleep. They stand around your bed silently, never moving, all night.

Randoms are very generous. Had 330k RC worth of hires and I got a rock, two scraps of meat and a ferrystone from Zoidberg (thanks!). Well, got a bunch of updates for the beastiary at least.
Second round of fetch quests and a weapons pack, nothing spectacular, the weapons are tuned to various critters.

@Peas Your cheeky pawn just leaned over and waved her hand in front of my character's face while I was standing there doing nothing waiting for a save to complete.
How does the game decide between NPCs with high affinities? Most recent; oldest?

FYI folks, not that many of you are using her right now, but I'm very close to swapping Mistral back to a Mage now that I've hit rank 9 on Sorc. Only need about 6 or 7k more Discipline to get the second Augment I wanted and then she goes back and I switch my main from MK to Sorc for the long grind to 9.
Just switched Amber back to Mage once she got the Sorc augment that decreases casting time, so if any of you guys on PSN want a level 68-ish (I'm not too sure) support mage, she's ready to go. Also would appreciate input if you do use her as to how I can improve her.

Picking only 3 is the cruelest thing. T.T
But when I do so I'll be so sad about my loss of poisoning attacks.
