I'm giving this four stars, because I have exactly zero familiarity with spritecraft and I don't know if this took you ten minutes or several days.

But it's cool regardless. I was wondering why the colours were a little off. Gabe looks...sickly.

More like several weeks, if it was done block by block.

A little back story is warranted I guess. The full image was created in Spritecraft, which quickly converts the pixels of any image into Minecraft blocks. So yes it only took a couple minutes to generate the image. But! I did write Spritecraft the program (with the help of a friend), which took several weeks. Not as cool as building the whole thing block-by-block, but not an insignificant level of effort either!

Closeup of the hand for the curious:

If you wrote the program you used to make the picture, I think it counts as full credit.

I wish to know if it's possible to import a converted image into the game world itself.

Think of the epic mosaics we could create?

At any rate, this is definitely worth 5 stars.
