Usually it has an opt-in checkbox for it because some people don't want to compete. Why? I'll never know. I think this may be like previous years in that they'll say anyone who bought before we added the checkbox is automatically entered. At least, this is what I remember from years past.
Now to go bug my boss who hasn't posted my vacation time for that weekend even though I put in the request two months ago.

BYOC is always a separate registration. The Omegathon option will be added later, and all those who register super early will be opted-in by default.

Calm down a little. Last year the 3-day passes didn't sell out until mid-July, and the 1-days took another month. Even if they sell a bit faster this year, you have months of time.
