Game of Thrones: Episode 4 "Cripples, Bastards, and Broken Things"
I want to make out with whoever designed those credits, for serious
Yesss. That title sequence is fucking beautiful.
On reflection, I think I'm more excited about it than anything else from the pilot because it's entirely new to someone who's read the books as many times as I have.
I mean, the show was great but that title sequence is so wonderful that I can't stop gushing about it.
EDIT: Music's nice too!
Dating is like playing Snake, you keep accumulating emotional baggage that trails after you and it never goes away and sooner or later you just plough head first into it and die
Someone mentioned it in the last thread, I think it was KalTorak?
The rings around the sun in the opening credits depict the history of Westeros. The first ring shows a dragon breathing fire over the continent. The 2nd ring shows the same dragon wrestling with a stag, a lion, and a wolf. And then the 3rd ring shows the stag triumphant with the wolf and lion to either side of it.
So which locations are people most excited about seeing pop up in that wonderful clockwork-y style?
I'm looking forward to Dragonstone and Harrenhal myself. It'll be nice to get an idea of the size of the latter compared to every other castle.

Because Cheyenne Sucks
I don't have it because I am not going to pay $50 a month just to see something I am going to buy when it comes out in DVD or whatever
So I just watched this expecting a round the clock tit fest. Ive seen shows way worse, the amount of nudity was pretty standard. I mean the hanging tits in the wedding scene is no different from a strip bar in the Sopranos and the nudity and sex less than in Boardwalk Empire.
Also I love the "Dothraki are just miscellaneous brown people! I mean what race are they??!? how racist HBO!" - Um, they are a desert/nomadic warrior tribe, consisting of other conquered tribes from other regions, not to mention the guards were from Pentos and not part of the Dothraki horde. Also Westeros is full of miscellaneous white people, outrageous.
Someone also mentioned that it didnt appear that there were many at the wedding, the opening shot shows hundreds, if not thousands, this isnt a movie people, they cant spend 1 million+ on each effects shot.
well, obviously the American Standard Titties Over Time Measurement System, or TOTeMS, is not based on the actual numerical value of quantity of titties, but rather is a number determined by averaging the quality, quantity, frequency, and percentage of titties shown.
Reading the website, it says that Robert is the eldest in his family. I thought that that the whole point of the entire Stannis story is that Robert is the middle child and thus should serve his brother.

No, no.
Spoiler:
As far as I understand it, Robert is the eldest, and the youngest brother is... uh... Renly, I think.
The gay one.
Stannis was the middle child, which explains a fucking lot.
