Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
My typical drive in to work is about 20 minutes. Recently the commercial playing times on my favorite morning show have changed and over taken my drive into work.
I own an iPod and I was wondering what are some cool tech/casual talk/video game podcasts out there?
I can't stand another Shane Co. advertisement
This American Life is not what you are asking about but is so so good.
I hate that show. Ira Glass's voice is like nails on a chalkboard and all the stories sound like the crap I had to read in every english class I took from highschool on; not interesting, informative, funny, entertaining or well organized and yet is somehow great literature.
Obviously your mileage may vary.
Cartalk and Wait Wait, Don't Tell Me both have podcasts too if memory serves. Even if you don't know or care much about cars, the Cartalk guys are a laugh.

There are thousands of free OTR shows you can find online, everything from variety shows to suspense to crime drama to horror to sci fi to mystery, and quite a few other genres.
They might not be "tech/casual talk/video game" related, but a lot of people don't know they like OTR until they listen to some of it.

I like Feedback by TechTV. It's less retarded than their shows, and even though it's a video podcast, I just listen to it as they don't show a lot of footage anyway.

How Stuff Works is interesting some of the time.
You could also consider picking up an audiobook.

It's Kevin Smith and Scott Mosier's podcast. It's fucking great.
Also available through iTunes, obviously.
It's 2-3 hours a week, and awesome.
EDIT: Oh, and it's about videogames. Sometimes. Sometimes it's about.........other things.
Smodcast is rad.
They're like an hour and a half long or longer, so they don't do well for a "driving to work for twenty minutes" scenario, but they are rad.
Although, I guess you could just pause one when you get to work, and then it will last you all week.
For science.
It's the guy who does the Instance a WoW podcast.
