He got gas. Eventually. The Robo was heavily delayed, so those Medivacs could've been Banshees.

Good to see trickster winning though, hoping this is the season he is actually consistent!

Although can't say my hopes are too high up for that at this point :P.

only in pvp could you have 1base vs 1base for 20 mins until both players were mined out

I don't think Trickster realised that he was 30 probes to 20 probes when he was up his ramp and if he hadn't tried to break down his ramp he would have been okay.

I feel like someone that good should be able to look at his own probe line and look at his enemy's with the DTs he had in there and realise how many more he had.

Trickster and Anypro are both experts at making critical mistakes at points it causes them to lose.

This time it happened to trickster before anypro.

Ah well, not like any of them were getting past ro8 anyway, I just like trickster more as a player :P.

being up against Inca is a problem, the guys is basically still in this because his PvP is excellent as far as I've seen, and he wrecked huk in the up/down matches.

edit - as he came back tastosis were talking about how he wasn't all inning... I'm betting he thinks he can beat huk and inca, or at least has a better chance than against july.

Yeah, jinro got knocked down as far as I know.

HuK can probably take out rain, but then it's inca again or july, either which is a hard game.

Oh wait, huk vs july. Hoping he can do this. No foreigners in the ro16 and above would be sad.

I thought huk did pretty well

he couldn't be jerked around anymore because he knew july was taking a third and getting ahead... what else do you do in that scenario?

If you're moving into a base trade scenario, getting a handful of DTs, using the mass stalker ball to snipe detection can be very powerful. Not sure how viable it would've been for him in that particular game, I know there was tons of other shit going on, but it makes sense in my head. Huk was in a bad spot though for sure.

Some nice thoughts on the Protoss changes from some guy that's not me.

Can't believe Inca bumbled that fight so badly..

HuK should probably have tried to take the left expansion for a third.

But in general, he got outplayed by july.

Not sure where the HuK hate comes from, seeing as how he actually got trough code a and the up/down matches, which is hard enough in itself. Getting Inca in PvP and then July is hardly an easy path into the tournament.

I don't hate the guy, and I root for him whenever he's on, but he always seems to have poor showings. Even in games where he wins (his Code A path was against some easier opponents..) he seems to be scraping along by the skin of his teeth. His performance has consistently been too low to be a serious Code S contender.

He went up against the strongest PvP player in Korea and JulyZerg in the first round, tough luck.

Yeah that's pretty much what's up with Huk. I mean he's obviously a strong enough player to be in GSL, that's no trivial feat, but his showings have always been anything but inspiring (aside from his first BO3, that ling FF surround was beautiful.)
