Eh, cosmetically, I think it looks stupid. But that's a minor issue. But on the whole, I've got next to no interest in the German heavy tanks as a whole, and the other two I am interested in are the Tiger I and Tiger II. I'm sure the Tiger P is superior, but if I really wanted heavies, I'd spend more time with my IS.
I've unlocked more gear through the Jagdpanther (and thus, on the Panther and Tiger) than the Ferdinand (and the Tiger), so there's that too.
Tiger P is a boat, but it actually has upsides like front armor and a front mounted turret. While the Tiger H has nothing. I'd take the Tiger P over the Tiger H every match. That said, i just bought a Tiger H on today's sale. Want me an E75 eventually. Get rid of my reverse duck tank as a T9 heavy. E75 is better than the AusfB in almost everyway.

Wish that could have been my x5 today ... I'd happily take 8.5k XP ... <_<
[Edit]
And I just killed a GW Typ E in my T-54! Master Tanker, woo!
[Double edit]
I don't need to show you the replay for this one. I think the results screen speaks for itself. This game follows another in my BT-2 that I earned 900XP from a loss.
The Tiger H doesn't quite have nothing. It's more agile. The P theoretically has a higher top speed on paper but I've heard some dispute about that, and the H can get the Tiger II's engine which is more powerful than any of the P's powerplants. The H is also a smaller target...well, it depends on the angle, but it's definitely a little shorter I think.
The P is clearly a better all-rounder in most other respects, though.
I'm still going with the H for authenticity's sake and because it leads to better things than the P.

Of course, when I'm top tank, I invariably seem to get a team made up of helpless pushovers, but I'm probably imagining that...
oh man, there are days in the T20 where that replay happens over and over and over
After playing my ARL 44 I really like using the T20, feels like my tank has a rocket booster.

I uploaded the wrong replay. Herp-derp ...
For actual epic matches, see here:

My apologies to everyone who watched the wrong replay and wasted the time.
[Edit]
A few games later I broke my best game ever record with a 2,100ish game in the T20. I don't even know how ... but yeah, apparently I'm just rocking this thing.
I like how when you drive up to assrape the AMX on the hill, his reaction is to back up and keep shooting across the map. My guess is he wasn't paying attention and thought something had hit him from the front.
I also like how oblivious the Tiger at your base is when you first show up.
I have the T20 unlocked, but I need the credits for my Panther first.
Such a heavy burden now to be the one
Born to bare and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see
But I forgot my pen...
You should be able to enjoy yourself. Some low tier fights may be a bit frustrating due to some of the high armor tanks, but overall it's still pretty solid through most tiers.
The main change I've noticed is that the bulk of the playerbase either flanks or packs better guns. The tanks I recall being monsters on release are just meh now. IS's aren't really scary anymore.
7.2 incoming? :? D:
Edit: Finally got an update but it was tiny. Still says 7.1.
And new maps, and cosmetic camo. Basically they love adding shit to the game that has marginal impact on the way it actually plays. I will give them credit for doing something a bit different with the French tanks, at least. But some new game modes would sure be welcome....
Mmmm, true that, Bro.
Thats true with most free to play games. Vanity items are just how they turn a buck.
Sure, and for the camo and the occasional premium tank they've been putting in that makes sense, even if it is sort of disappointing. But they've been adding quite a few new standard tanks and maps as well, which is just free content that's not really adding a great deal to the game. Not to mention the fact that some of the existing maps and tanks have serious problems and could stand to be reworked before they go adding new ones.
Yeah, Komarin is the one I had most in mind. Karelia and Mines are a bit better these days, though I still kind of dislike Karelia. Basically I think it's a terrible idea in any map to set up one of the lanes as a swampy deathtrap. Or any kind of deathtrap, actually, because the best-case scenario is that it just bogs down play. More often one team ends up losing because dumbasses lemming into it to die. Lakeville gets a little slack here since the village is a broad enough front to support some maneuvering, despite the fact that the valley and mid are both stupid as hell.
I snickered, because I almost always go middle on Lakeville (and everyone always gets mad at me for it). It's funny how big a difference one tank in there can make sometimes, and how you can still so easily lose one of the flanks despite making a decent impact. Lakeville isn't perfect, but I don't think it's terrible, because it offers a weird duality to both sides.
Komarin is entirely terrible though. I also hate El Halluf because of how much the map tends to degrade to "Did we win North? If no, GG." and how hard it can be to do anything effective on other parts of that map after the first 45 seconds of the match.
El Haluf isn't too terrible, because you can take the cove and accomplish fun things. That said, you have literally two areas of attack (north and cove), and cove is almost completely inaccessible after the first thirty seconds, unless arty blasts things off the hill.
It seems simple enough; I don't get why WG persists in making the same mistakes with map design. My best guess is that they want to inject a sense of variety into the map rotation, but you can't do that at the expense of fun gameplay.
