Tornado destroyed my house

I'm currently in sw Tulsa at work. Weather stations says storm should start hitting around 6, when I get off, so I'm hoping I can actually drive home before any real bad weather starts.

Whether a tornado touches down we'll see. Last time I recall one doing that was around 1999 and it hit a mile away from where I am now. Haven't really seen one in north Tulsa yet around my living area.

A couple have already touched down west of OKC, but headed north-northeast. You should be a-okay for now, though.

Wath out if you pantry has a lot of loos stuff in it, your best bet would be a closet that just has clothes or a bathroom with a tub. Small rooms, no windows period, nothing high above your head that is heavy and could fall off.

My neighbors had sleeping bags that they covered their heads with when the storm hit. A few things bounced off it and some other pillows they had set up.

There's just really no telling how it's gonna hit you. Beware the rumbling sound.

I live within earshot of a freight rail, so it's always an exciting time when a storm hits while the train crosses town.

I'm grabbing my pillows and comforter along with a skateboard helmet if they confirm a tornado is coming, I packed a bag as per Munkus' suggestion with clothes, cash phone charger, etc.
