So last night I was going through the storage unit on our deck and it got pretty rainy. I had to dry off a few very wet bins before putting them back in. I went in to get a couple of towels.

Then I remembered that Neville gave me a ShamWow at his going away party, as he was trying to get rid of extra stuff so he didn't have to move it. I hadn't use it yet and figured I'd give it a try.

shamwow1.jpg

Well damn if the thing didn't work like crazy. Completely soaked up all the water without dripping and left everything very dry. I was quite surprised.

What kind of wacky infomercial type products have you tried and have you found them to be rad or junk?

My dad got one of those Citrus Express thingies for cutting up oranges and grapefruit and he says it works great.

He let me use it when we first moved in to chop up some garlic and it worked, but not nearly as well as I had hoped. It was entirely meh

I own a slanket and love it dearly. I've spent a few days just swaddled in it for the whole day, watching tv and getting crumbs all over it. I wanna marry it

My wife likes to make a really fine green salsa with tomatillos, it's good at that. We wouldn't use it for regular salsa, it makes the bits too small. Oh it's really good at making pesto as well.

Normal food processors are pretty good for slicing or grating a lot of vegetables quickly, but as far as mincing or dicing I haven't found anythign that does a good job.

A cupcake and Ben and Jerry's already have a ton of sugar and you're adding artificial sweetener to it? And Splenda, no less?

Why would you add artificial sweetener to ice cream?
