YouTube is Broken for Me

Heya, everytime I go to YouTube I get this message:
Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.

But I can watch YouTube videos just fine on other sites they're embedded into. I'm on Internet Explorer, and I'm pretty pissed right now having spent the last twenty minutes trying to fix this and failing.

    Upon further investigation, videos work, but user pages don't seem to work properly. Huh. This is weird.

    Are you fully updated with both IE and Flash and/or ensured that Javascript is turned on? Obvious first port of call but bears mentioning.

    Are you running a NoScript or Adblock plugin that might be interfering with the site?

    Have you performed a virus and spyware/adware scan?

    Might be an Adblock problem. My scanner stuff expired, I need to buy a new one.

    No you don't. Grab Microsoft Security Essentials (if you're running a legit copy of Windows) - it's free and the best one available at the moment. If not, grab AVG Free. There's no need to pay for computer protection.

    hm I'm on chrome and just noticed the same thing (vids work fine, user pages are fucked)

    turning off adblock didn't fix it either
