Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
if blue jean dye got on something is it there forever
i wore my stupid new jeans but i didnt wash them first or anything i was dumb and i realized my nice expensive bag which is brown twill was ridin on my butt today and umm now i am really mad at myself WHAT HAVE I DONE
can anything be done or do i just have to live with it and be glad it was only on one side of the bag and not horrible horrible
i'm assuming nothing can be done but figured i'd ask
I've had good luck getting seemingly permanent stains out of expensive fabric using hair spray. For example, my favorite brown suede Coach purse had a black ink pen explode in it. Half a bottle of hair spray later and you would never be able to tell. Just get whatever is cheapest at the grocery store and give it a try.
And you don't just get $5 off used games.
WKC is $59.99 New. Used is $34.99.
SO is $64.99 new used is $34.99.
Eternal Sonatra new is $34.99 used is $17.99.
You get a savings of 50% or more if your buying used.
As far as the hair spray thing goes, yes, I just sprayed it on. I found that I really needed to saturate it and then just dabbed it out with lots of paper towels.

I've gotten blue jean dye on leather and gotten it off, I don't know how hard it is to get off fabrics though.
