People are just playing as they're used to, playing it as a shooter without those options. I expected this. It will take a couple of days for people to get used to the new mechanics.
Has anyone figured out how to play the game so that you are both
A. Playing the levels in order and seeing the cutscenes, and
B. Playing online with other human beings instead of co-op against bots?
When I go to campaign mode, the only option it gives me is to host a game and invite people onto my team. I can't figure out how to do the campaign online against people.
i thought the whole idea was to have people jump in and play the opposition?
This is what I'm referring to:
Each mode can be played entirely online 8v8, meaning that your campaign will be played against real people who are playing their version of the campaign against you. If you are at a point in your campaign, (online) and you lose the battle, you will be reconnected to a new server with players at the same part as you and you can try again, while the winners remain to fight the next battle. I guess you can think of it as, “Losers walk.”

The answer to all problems is the big fucking revolver. When in doubt, shoot everything with the big fucking revolver. Muzzle brake, red dot sight, rapid fire, speed holster. Fastest and angriest draw in the west.

The reviews lie, this game is awesome. I was trying to prevent the enemy team from escorting a dude and was playing as a light engineer with a light rifle (a sniper but not as strong. More like Reach's DMR) and a machine pistol. I was in a place with an MG Nest with the hostage walking in front of it, and just held them all back between the MG, my turret, and my rifle. Once all the enemies were down, I'd place a mine in front of the hostage's path, so whenever they came along and revived him he'd blow up.
I was basically Rambo. This is not a bad thing.
Also using a cowboy hat-wearing cop and a gas mask dude with a bandana.
anyone feel like being generous and buying a server? I would but the government hasnt paid me yet

I don't even remember which one one of I joined server with but I shot dudes in their faces and guts and testicles and slid around corners and captured control points

I find it hilarious how his main point of contention (it seems) is there is a lack of variety in the objectives
