And these two are unlockable by clearing Chapter 13 of Story Mode, and all of Story Mode respectively.

And this ugly douchebag is a PS3 exclusive. The Xbox 360 exclusive was beta testing the online for the PS3 bourgeois.

Quick answers!

1.) Klassic outfits can only be unlocked with a redemption code via whatever retailer you purchased your game from.

2.) There are 300 challenges in the Challenge Tower. Beat Challenge 300 for a reward.

3.) To avoid the creeper in the Krypt that scares the shit out of you, view the whole map, click on a section, and it will take you to the next available unlock. That or you can mute your TV and hope for the best.

4.) The strategy guide has tons of mistakes. It is decent, but was made hastily and is missing parts of combos, mislabels others, and even has wrong Fatalities on the cheat sheets.

5.) There is NO 360 DEMO.

6) To view Klassic outfits in the Nekropolis,, go to the Nekropolis. View anyone's profile. Hit start and then Player Select. Choose the kharacter/outfit as you would prior to a match.

How do I unlock costumes and Fatality inputs?

You have two options:

1. Beat the ladder with a character to get their alternate outfit. You can just look up everyone’s second Fatality and perform it in the Fatality trainer. After that, it will appear in the move list menu.

2. Unlock them in the Krypt.

Have you guys seen this last battle in Story Mode? How the fuck do you beat Shao Kahn!?

Yes, we have all seen it and it is not hard at all. Cheese, cheese, cheese.

Your main objective is to back away from Kahn and wait for his moves. When he throws his hammer or spear, teleport and then either do a combo or use an uppercut/torpedo move (although combos might be faster).

This is EXACTLY what I was about to post. Haha.

Can we PLEASE start a new tourney? If anything, I can run it since I am used to running tourneys/seasons. When the last tourney was put together, it was probably put together with people that posted before the game came out. YOU CAN'T DO THAT! You have to have a potential list of players and then quadruple check once the game comes out that they actually get the fucking thing.

And thank you for fixing my OP stuff. The spacing in the last thread was too much.

Ditching Tournament stuff in a few (I'll keep a spare copy of the info regardless) You'll have to excuse me, I'm up to my arse in trying to make the character icons link to the SRK Wiki page for them for easy move/fatality knowledge. Which in turn means ditching the fatality section too.

You would have to go into a King of the Hill room and be a spectator.

Also, just pointless info, but I lost interest in this thread and the game when the tournament shit itself. I hate unorganized things like that and it turns me off from whatever it involves (in this case, Mortal Kombat). I am happy the OP is more organized. Hopefully a clean slate for this thread will renew my interest.

edit: Just an FYI, I am pretty sure there are multiple mistakes in that fatality list. I printed it out and had been using it for achievement reasons and there were quite a few flaws. And keep that second post for potential tourney info.

Just picked this up and have been practicing with Sub-Zero until PSN gets back up.

For the challenges, do you have to use the character that your given or is there a way to choose your own.

In the Challenge Tower? You must use the character specific to the challenge.

Challenge #300 lets you use whatever character you want, for obvious reasons when you get there.

You can't save replays, but you can save some videos...in the stupidest way possible.

Most fighting games that have a Record option in Training mode is so you can set the AI to do a certain combo or something so you can practice against it. NRS apparently completely misunderstood what a Record option was supposed to do, and instead the Record option just allows you to make short little videos of your fights in training mode.

While hilarious, I have trouble assuming they're that stupid.

I'm far more cynical.

I prefer to think they had some bullet points they had to hit for marketing and to appeal to the tournament scene as well as the casuals. They saw they were running low on time and threw that in so they could say "Record in the training room!"

Technically accurate, but definitely not in the spirit of things.

CPU Boss Tsung can morph into a few pre-set characters. Playable Tsung can only Soul Steal into his opponents for a few seconds at a time, but he does get a damage boost while doing so.

You have to go the the nekropolis and select the character there. Then it will unlock and you can select it in the way you mentioned. Yes that's pretty retarded, but it's what you have to do.

One thing I'm curious about though, is there a reason Raiden's eyes are red in the opening cutscene or is it just cause he's getting his ass wooped?

the last two MK games had Raiden becoming corrupted and evil, I believe he's the one who resurrected Liu Kang as a zombie

He got all dark and evil looking in MK: Deception. I don't remember the reason for this. He did sort of explode himself in the intro to that game, it's probably related in some way that doesn't completely make sense.

What exact codes came with the Kollectors Edition?

If the Raiden player starts really spamming teleport, like after every move they do, you can start to punish it easily.

Once Raiden players learn that they need to save the teleport for situations where it matters, that's when we'll be in real trouble.

Plus, Wong is supposed to be switching to Raiden, so we can finally see a decent Raiden player show everyone who I hate him so.
