SCHOOL IS STUPID

I'm at the point where I routinely think about dropping out of school on a daily basis.

I really wish I had pursued my dream of opening a bar on the beach somewhere in South America instead of working on a post-undergrad degree.

Anyway, summer break is here/almost here for most of us. I'm taking summer school. How about you?

So I'm taking American History II and Intro to Politics this summer, both first summer term, which means they will be 5 week courses. I'm moderately concerned about this. Mostly because neither class is for the degree I'm working on right now, but for a secondary degree which will better aid me at pursuing a bachelor's in my primary program.

i actually remember being more stressed for lang + US in 11th grade than i was for lit + euro + chem + calc BC in 12th grade

US was an intimidating test i tell you what

this is especially distracting since even though the guy is one of my best friends

i totally want to bang his ex, also he is slightly obsessive/crazy

Not 100% but I think they just don't allow outside calculators and they provide you with one.

I've been hovering at 88% in one of my classes, and the final is worth 20% of my grade, so for that A, I need to get a 95% on that final

Also I should head to class right now, final starts in a half hour.

I keep telling myself to calm down, it's multiple choice and high-school level, anyway. Really glad after all that I took those remedial math classes at community college that I wound up not needing for my degree. I have been sucking at the practice problems, though. D:

you shouldn't stress it. the fact that there's no calculator just ends up meaning they don't write a test with a lot of or very complex calculations.

You know what's great about the GRE? I can absolutely bomb the math portion of the GRE and it's a-okay.

So apparently I pulled a C- in a class that I thought I was going to fail.

Not even going to question how I pulled that off, out of fear that an extended analysis might cause it to plummet another few points.

It's not the complex bits that are hard, it's the basic arithmetic I screw up. As long as I get close enough to the correct answer, though, I guess I can pick it out of the choices.

At least I know I can kick the verbal section's ass.
