I wonder about that stuff every time I see it. How does one prepare bok choy? What is it used for? What does it taste like? What is it good with?
I usually just put some olive oil in a frying pan, tear the bok choy down into somewhat manageable pieces, and saute with onions until tender. Goes pretty well with any sort of rice dish, or just as a side next to some kind of meat.
It really is good this way. It's got a pretty neutral flavor so I'm definitely trying it with my daughter when she's old enough.
When it comes to coffee I used a modified joke from the Jeffersons: I like my coffee like I like my women, pale and sweet. Bunch o sugars and creams. I'm more of a tea guy honestly
I don't really drink coffee because for me to like the taste I have to drown it in milk and sugar. And really, what the fuck is the point of drinking coffee if have to do that to enjoy it?
I'm moving in with a friend of mine in a few months, and he is one hell of a grill chef. Wings to die for. I am excited about my bountiful access to his talents.
Loooove whenever my mom cooks that, she makes the best sinigang with hunks of rib meat that is to die for
my aunt makes it with salmon and I much much prefer my mom's pork version! my mom makes everything better than anyone else (I may be slightly biased). I'm resolving to actually get the recipe next time I go home. I haven't been to an asian store since I've lived in denver, it's shameful : (

Aww that's sad. There's an Asian store I go to that sells cooked siopao and BBQ in like deli platters you can put in the fridge and just microwave to eat that is amaaazing and real nice when I'm missing home cooked meals. No worries, you'll be home soon, right? Gotta figure out what to ask your mom to cook for the welcome back dinner!

Coffee is probably my least favorite culinary flavor. I've had cheap coffee, I've had expensive coffee, I've had instant, drip, and fresh ground, I've had it from our Keurig....it all tastes like ass to me.

I do, but I should probably elaborate.
Main course is going to be beef three ways - miniature Beef Wellington, Pressed Shoulder of beef, and a third I'm not sure of yet. We're doing Potato Dauphinoise and a Port and Stilton gravy, but I just have no idea on vegetable accompaniments to it

Tonight I get to christen my new Kitchen. The gas hob got connected a couple days back, but there was so much dust and crap that it's been a couple days before I felt it was clean enough to actually cook in there.
I just have to pick up some ingredients after work. Not sure what I'm going to cook, but it'll probably involve rice.

Loooove whenever my mom cooks that, she makes the best sinigang with hunks of rib meat that is to die for
For a 20oz coffee, five cups of half and half, 2 packets of splenda, and 2 packets of sugar
Can't drink too much of it though, I get the jitters something awful

I made this once. Holy goddamn it's delicious, and I usually hate blue cheese.
Twitch (I stream most days of the week)
Twitter (mean leftist discourse)
don't forget a drink to sip and friends to converse with while in the kitchen.
"Think of it as Evolution in Action"
The Chik-fil-a bannana pudding milkshakes are the tastiest homo-hating sumbitches there are
this sounds weird and off-putting enough that it's probably the tastiest thing I've never tried
I need sides ideas for a "come dine with me" main course.
A single plate of spaghetti and meatballs.
Tasty and cheap!
Winner!
then i moved to vancouver and bought fresh beans and a grinder and a french press and some vanilla syrup and all is right in the world
