if he starts pushing into WoT territory I really will start to get mad at him
Brandon Sanderson will split book seven into three parts. 8-)

What was she like?
"Ordinary. The kind of dangerous, beautiful ordinary that you just can't leave alone. Like an angel from the underworld or maybe a devil from paradise."
"It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation."
but the rest of the episode was stellar. I havent had problems with Renly before but I really liked him tonight, and the Tywin/Jaime scene was just outstanding.
minor nerd nitpick: Pyp is a ranger not a steward!
I did like that they named dropped Halder, Toad, and Daeron though.
oh I also really missed the bit where Jon goes to talk to Maester Aemon to convince him to take Sam as his personal steward, since my impression from the books is that that conversation is the main reason why Mormont takes an interest in Jon
I always forget how much of the stage for the rest of the series gets set all at once when Robert dies. Renly's offer to Ned is like a flashbulb going off in the book and in the show now too--it happens so fast that you don't really get a chance to process it before all kinds of other shit starts going down, and then suddenly in the next book he's marching with an enormous army behind him. LOVE IT
Tywin & Jaime scene was great including the overt symbolism of Tywin gutting a stag.
I actually liked Littlefinger's brothel scene with Roz. Of course I'll like just about any scene with 2 hotties fingering each other. Agreed it was over the top, but Councilman Carcetti pulled it off.
I also liked the scene with Osha and Maester Luwin putting Theon in his place.
Also, Ghost!
Minor nitpick:
Ghost barking as he went North of the wall. Kinda bothered me since he's supposed to be silent all the time.
Khal Drogo's speech, all in Dothraki, was completely badass. Hiring some dude to create a custom language is paying off in a big way. It sounds so guttural and fierce.
Hard to say. There's a not a ton of Jon stuff left this season, so unsure of how they are going to spread it out.
But if I had to guess yes. Episode 8 - wight attack, Episode 9 - Jon gets longclaw, Jon's conversation with Aemon, Episode 10 - Jon runs and gets brought back by Sam/Grenn/Pyp, then Mormont tells him they are riding north.

oh hello new whores whom I don't know from eve let me tell you my entire life that I never tell anyone

Now play with her ass
I agree with Bale that Renly was great tonight. Tywin was amazing but I think I said that after I first watched it.
And on a second viewing yeah. The brothel scene was pretty awful. I prefer Littlefinger with more mystery about him.
But I watched it last week so I could be remembering things incorrectly.
It was a stag
because he said it was a pig and roughly fifteen people stepped in to correct him

I had a couple drinks right after work, came home, and fell asleep around 8:30, and woke up at about 11:30 local time
I feel like shit
book spoilers, I guess
Probably going to be CGI, but a demon muppet would be funny in all the wrong ways.

Maybe.
I'm curious how they'll handle (maybe Episode 8 spoilers)
Either way it should be one of the most exciting scenes thus far in the season.
