Eric of Amber stood in his regal attire at the head of the great table in the feast hall. His dress was immaculate, red and black. Next to him stood his brother Julian, in his finest white scaled armor.
“Lords and Ladies of Amber,” Julian's voice rang hard throughout the hall. “Your liege is aware of the reports that agents have infiltrated the city, and he is working tirelessly to defend the realm. But he cannot work alone. Every man must stand behind the Regent in these trying times.”
A cheer went up from the table, but it was hardly reassuring.
Caine, brother of Eric moved around the table like a serpent. He stopped standing next to the Regent, and whispered something in his ear. Eric turned to Julian and nodded. The three brothers turned and left the great hall.
“They have begun to move against us,” Eric said, sitting in the huge chair in the study.
“No doubt, we need to be ready,” Caine replied, standing next to the hearth.
Julian sat in one of the other stuffed chairs. His feet crossed at the ankles. “My men are prepared, they wont be able to come through the forest.”
Caine frowned. “I imagine that they are already in the city. They could easily trump in. The girls are not to be trusted.”
Eric leaned forward in the chair. “Caine is likely correct, but we can't really do much about it.”

Bleys stood next to Corwin in the dark passage.
“We shouldn't be creeping around down here, Corwin.” There was a smirk on his face that never went away. “We should stride through the gates like true Princes!”
Corwin shrugged. “That wouldn't be the wisest idea. We do have the issue of Eric sitting on the throne and holding the scepter. To many, he's already the King.”
“Fah! He wont look so kingly with a blade through his heart. We should simply just make our way to the pattern, walk it, and kill him.”
Corwin frowned while he was digging through his pocket. “Also not the wisest idea. We don't want to take the throne over his dead body if we don't have to. It isn't very becoming, and wont do much to win over the rest of the family.”
“Fine, do this the clever way and be done with it then.”
Corwin fished out his cards, and shuffled out Gerard's trump. Gerard was dependable. Soon the card was cold, and then the picture changed to show Gerard sitting in a huge chair in his apartments.
“Corwin? How? Never mind. What do you want?”
“I want you to bring me through Gerard.”
Gerard paused visibly. “Why? Why don't you come yourself, under the light of day?”
“You know why Gerard.”
Gerard frowned. “I don't know if I can help you. This doesn't seem right.”
“Gerard, I'm not going to lie to you. You know what I'm here for, and I wont beat around the bush. This isn't going to end until it ends.”
Gerard sighed. “Yes, I know. Please, reconsider. I'm not going to be the one to do this.” With that, Gerard broke contact.
Corwing shuffled out the card for his sister Flora.

Eric sat facing the window. “I was expecting you soon, brother.” He said.
Corwin stood next to the hearth. “I figured that you would be. Glad that I didn't disappoint. We have things to settle.”
Eric stood and turned to look at his brother Corwin. “We do. I had hoped that you wouldn't be back here. I see that my leniency is going to cost me. Do you mind telling me how exactly you managed to escape?”
Corwin smiled. “I don't think so, my little secret. I'm coming for you, brother. Don't sit comfortably.” With that, Corwin seemed to fold in on himself, turning two dimensional and he disappeared.”
Day 1 has begun!

Now I'm sure you're all worried about the power outtages, but I assure you that we are doing everything that we can to solve the problem. There will be plenty of light bulbs and canned food for everyone.
These problems are clearly caused by our enemies, the Mole Men, and I promise that we will offer swift and vengeful retribution against these fiends of our fair City of Amber.
Especially against fiendish Mole Men like !Drez. As your Mayor, I encourage all of us to join together and vote out that Mole Man.

Also, would anyone have a link to a better wiki than that? Not familiar with the source material at all, and it might be helpful to know who was talking in the narration

LOL. B:L ur crazy! BTW, who voted you the mayor? I didn't. You may have to die.
We each do our part for the City of Amber. If you didn't do the good thing when I was chosen as Mayor, the least you could do is vote to throw Drez back to his Mole Men companions.
Ask not what your City of Amber can do for you, but what you can do for your City of Amber. And if you did happen to ask out loud, the answer is to save your Mayor and vote out Drez.
Well it seems like we have enough data in our voting books. I'd like to thank you for your participation, citizens of Amber.
As your Mayor, I highly encourage you to now vote out Drez, and after the night is done I will publicly announce who our highly effective anti-Mole enforcers will be taking in for questioning.
I encourage all of you to follow with this plan, and I promise a Mole-free future for every man woman and child in Amber once this is all over.
You question my good name, Phyphor? You should know I am as loyal and true as any Son of Oberon. If I thought you worth the trouble, I would denounce you in front of all these townfolk... but at the moment, you rank slightly above policitians.

Don't be silly, glaciers can't threaten our fair City of Amber.
Mole Men, on the other hand, they're sneaky and they come from beneath when you least expect it... to steal your light bulbs and canned food.
You wouldn't want to be robbed by a Mole Man like Drez, would you citizen Exty?
