Blake Lively as Carol Ferris. She's Hal's boss and eventually turns into a flying pink stripper. HAHA comic books!



Mark Strong as Sinestro. He starts out as the greatest Green Lantern of them all, then becomes space Hitler. Also looks completely amazing in this movie.



Peter Sarsgard as Hector Hammond. I never watched any movie with this guy in it. But he plays a guy who gets a giant head. And I don't know, mind powers or something.

In supporting roles are Tim "Snuck out of Shawshank through a shit tunnel" Robbins as Senator Hammond, Geoffry "Crazy Pirate" Rush as the voice of Tomar-Re, Micheal Clark "Holy Shit I'm Huge" Duncan as the drill sargent of the Corps Kilowog, Angela "Strange Days" Bassit as Amanda "The Wall" Waller, and Clancy "Fucking Lex Luthor" Brown as the voice of the big bad, Parrallax.

cause Hal Jordan, while a ladies man, was never hilarious or particularly clever. He was basically Tom Cruise in Top Gun: The Superhero.

But now we have Reynolds doing goofy shit, which is fine, but man it is so blatant.

I will say the Green Lantern Corps itself and Oa look really fucking cool.

Yes, this is a good plan

They tried and failed with a plan like that before.

Outside of Batman I have no faith in DC's cinematic vision. If movies turn out good that's great, but I have to see the good.

I want this to be good, but it seems to me they made some pretty bad design decisions. Mostly notably Hal's mask/eyes, and the huge-head guy. Unless that's only a transitional state for 5 minutes or something, it's going to be hard to take him seriously as a bad guy.

A month ago I was sure that Thor would be better than the new X-Men, and then it turned out to be kind of dull. Dunno if it's because expectations for comic book movies have gotten higher or if they've just been genuinely underwhelming as of late.

You've got a point about First Class though, I saw their take on Mystique and Beast and immediately thought "oh crap what are they doing"

Granted the later trailer that spoiled pretty much the entire finale made me reconsider
