Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

Hanna Barbera animation from the 60s was the worst. The character designs were neat but the animation was awful, the voice characterizations were all celebrity impersonations, and every episode of every show was basically a rehash of the original premise. All catchphrases and nonsense.
Animation budgets dropped to nothing then, because cartoons went from the movie theater to television. Hanna-Barbera basically pioneered cheap animation, reusing backgrounds, stock sound effects etc. This of course after doing two decades of Tom & Jerry that were gorgeous, when they had a movie-sized budget for every short.

Oh shit Infamous is almost done downloading.

Then I can spend however long installing it.

If that woman's cleavedge made one more person pick the game up off the shelf, it was a net positive for microprose. And to be blunt, if taking her top off could have increased sales enough to get a sequel, I'd endorse it 100000% because I like playing great games.

I heard her voice and immediately assumed she was black. That's why I was expecting her to be, like, something not black with how Chu was so confused.

    I agree she sound Caribbean.

    EDIT:
    Ironic typo.

Miami I believe has a sizable population. I'm sure there are a couple other places too. I'm not aware of any nationality that doesn't pick some place in the country to set up a community.

I can't speak for the eastern seaboard but a lot of the black population in New Orleans and Louisiana are of Caribbean extraction.

  • KilroyKilroy Seer of Heart Registered User regular
Yeah, Miami and New Orleans probably have the largest population of people of Caribbean descent.

I already own inFAMOUS and Little Big Planet so I'm trying to decide between Super Stardust HD and Wipeout HD Pack. I am pretty set on Dead Nation already. Is Dead Nation any good?

For the PSP, I think I'll get LBP and Modnation Racers.

The Burger King outside of my work is owned by Jamaicans and I stop and get a coffee/iced coffee a good bit, and it's hilarious to me because one of the women sounds like Hermes's wife. I have come so close to responding with "Daylight come woman! Hurry up with my coffee!"

But I don't want to get shot.
