I have borderlands on xbox and would love to play through all the DLC I never got to with you guys

I reccomend never playing Zombie islandoutside of co-op because its awful trudging through that map alone.

Oh I got puked on again ? Thirds my moving speed and it obscures my vision? Yay.

Of course Im Brick so I just berserked them but its still annoying.

Oh and that fucking Jacobs Machine broke again.

I played Borderlands with friends on LAN once and that was incredibly fun. Setup wasn't difficult at all and we got great loot. Tried the same thing online and gave up after awhile. But, as everyone else said, singleplayer is aces.

The way me and friends always played it was we'd set aside a character just for multiplayer, and do our thing in single player with whatever else.

The real fun of it, for me, is playing different classes depending on who I'm running with.

If it's just me and Joseph or me and Tommy I'll probably roll Brick.

If we're all together, I usualy go for Roland and play support, cause like fuck I'm keeping up with the damage by a Mordecai and Brick in the party. :P

but the main theme is that the guy is gay and he's coming to terms with his sexual identity
like, quick time events where you have to reject women's advances
stealth missions where you have to hide your emotions

The ongoing game project for some of the Game Design units I was doing at University was about a gay marine with a pink beret and gloves who had his boyfriend waiting for him back home.

And then they got me to flesh out the narrative for this hilarious parody of the game and I can't remember what happened from there except he was still gay with a pink beret, and loads of other shit happened. It was pretty cool.

Lame. That fucking short cut to the fast travel pole can die too. Its only unlocked if you have no active missions. Why the hell am I coming back to that shit unless I have missions?

this thread is oddly timed, as I just got back into borderlands
getting games together over live isn't perfect, but it's far from clunky

just finished the knoxx DLC the other day

knoxx surprised me by being a decently written and voice-acted character, something I never would have expected from borderlands, and I am delighted by the idea of a diablo-esque loot game where you are provided with all the loot you can carry but not enough time to grab it all

welcome to the future of bullshit

Those parts I thought were really fun. The puzzles and interaction in the beginning was great, and the other part later on was also fun. I don't need to be killing things all the time to be entertained, duke game or not.

    So

the people that worked on this thing, what did they do during an ordinary day at the office?

Things like this are what I am curious about, were there only like 1.25 people working on it for a decade did they take lots and lots of days off were they told to take lots and lots of days off

was there just a group of people devoted specifically to working on this game or was it something people busy with other stuff did during their off-time?

I don't have a clear conception of the day to day at a game development company

Deadly Premonition is awesome, don't compare to this game which is apparently awful.

The comparison seems to be "You know how Deadly Premonition rules? This doesn't."

It's like if I said "Alien Syndrome is no EDF 2017".

Just using something awesome as a point of comparison for something not good in the slightest.

Oh you can grab it all. You can glitch down into the armory as long as a second player remains by the elevator to get down there and start the timer so you can actually leave.

You said I'm not good at this which I guess means I should have posted something like he did instead of just calling him a child which is a lot more to the point.

And about DNF, they should have finished it in 2001 when the E3 attention was at a peak. I want to hear broussards explanation for not wrapping it up.

I'm actually not entertained all the time when playing this, but I did like the non-action bits. I'm at hoover dam now and it's become completely boring.
