The man should have gotten it for free

Especially given the reviews I've seen.

The ScrewAttack.com guys filmed the trip to GameStop. Craig ("Stuttering Craig") bought the game for me "on behalf of gamers everywhere."

Also, 2K Games sent me a "Thank you" package. :)

That's pretty cool. I'll keep an eye on the Screwattack website and watch the thing when it's up.

It's pretty much the one absolute, cast-iron guaranteed sale they had.

They sent a beer glass, a shot glass, a Duke Burger Tshirt, a DNF hoodie sweatshirt, a bottle opener, duke steroid mints, a DNF precision mousepad, and some Duke posters.

The glasses are excellent. I'm using one right now!

I'm also trying out the mousepad, since I've never had one of these "gaming" mousepads before.

That's pretty awesome. That grab bag sounds much better than the actual game, sadly.

Slash, just so you know, you should probably warn the developers of any other games you pre-order in the future.

From the address/phone it looks like it was the same store, was it the same clerk? Has he moved up to management yet?

I must say that my favorite stuff is the signed Duke picture and especially the signed Ball of Steel Edition.

That's amazing. Never thought I'd have a copy of DNF signed by 3DR and Gearbox guys.
