I hated musicals. I was dragged to see Rent by a pretty girl.
Wasn't so bad. I was poor as shit at the time, so I could relate on a small relatively insignificant manner.
Meh. Rent.
There are better musicals IMO.
I have seen it twice and really enjoyed it both times. Its in my top 3 with Ragtime and probably Chicago. I saw Chicago on Broadway. So good. Jekyll and Hyde was really good as well.

Can't find an audio clip but there was an episode of Loveline (yes, Loveline) where Dr Drew freaks out because a planned parenthood-esque group starts writing nasty to letters to him after he offers advice to a young girl. I won't post about what because that's a debate I don't want to start.
Point being, he rants about how the most damaging thing to a cause is for two people who should be on the same side taking pot shots or going after each other.
I just remember him yelling "LISTEN YOU IDIOTS, IM ON YOUR SIDE. WE ARENT THE BAD GUYS" a lot.
It is incredibly frustrating when people are being combative whilst they agree with you by and large.

I find people that harass or give the TSA a hard time WAY more annoying and difficult than the actual TSA.
The TSA are not asking you to do outlandish things, and they are not asking you to do things that are surprises.
If they ask you to hold on, just hold on. If they ask you if they can check the inseam in your pants, let them check the inseam in your pants. Put all your shit in the baskets and have your ID ready and your ticket ready and put them away when they say to put them away.
The only people who ever have nightmare TSA stories are people who start shit with the TSA. And all you are doing is holding up the goddamn line.
No one is asking anyone to fly. Take a bus! Or a train! Or a car!

Especially when it's a shit job with a massive attrition rate, abusive management, and a government mandate preventing unionizing to improve said shit conditions.
Makes me just love fucking over the dudes in the trenches.

Eat! Live! Be Merry! You only go 'round once so make the most of it.
With that being said, I think I'll go taunt a TSA goon.
yeah i taunt people for trying to make a living too
They could do something more honorable like prostitution.
obviously every tsa employee is a fervent supporter of the organization's policies and makes direct, significant policy decisions
Every one furthers those policies through manhandling people and carrying out those policies. Are we going to have to have the fucking employee/employer moral responsibility argument every time something similar comes up?

Are you kidding? You can't just fucking ignore that. It's a really damaging attitude for social progressives and we have to call it out when we see it.

One of the lowest paid high stress jobs in the country leads to angry folk.

It's one thing to say that policy isn't the fault of the low-level TSA employees.
It's another thing entirely to say "you don't get to complain about the completely ridiculous security measures the TSA takes when you could just walk to the opposite coast instead!"

Couscous, sit down, take a deep breath, and seriously reevaluate your tone of voice. This is your one and only warning.
