Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
One time, I had a friend over to play a bit of Red Alert on my LAN. During the game he said he needed to go to the bathroom, so we paused it. After about 10 minutes of wondering where the hell he went, I get up and go to check on him.
Once I was taking a poop at a restaurant and a kid crept underneath the door into my stall. I let out a big fart and then he threw up all over the floor in front of me and I just stared at him.

I'm excited about this. It didn't have that bad of a run when it first came back and it's bound to get better again.
The movies however kinda suck.
I think we can all agree the movies were less than perfect. Although they did get us a new season, so not all bad. But yeah, some of the continuity between the movies was just ugh.
I watched one or two of the movies, they weren't bad, but it was seriously like a really long episode. and not in pacing. it was just they had the jokes for maybe two episodes and made an hour and a half out of it.
Back in college full time. Also out of the military now so I have time to actually travel and go do stuff. Also also lost the urge to post on the forums for a bit, but I am back in the swing of things.
yes yes yes I do so love Futurama. The movies were pretty awful but I think this last season was pretty awesome. Well, most of the episodes were at least decent and there were some that were absolutely incredible (anyone who doesn't like the time-travel episode has no soul).
Futurama tends to have one emotional episode a season whereabout

I genuinely hope it'll be better than last season. Mostly disappointing so far.
I dunno, I dug a lot of the last season. The iPod and maybe the cat one were the only genuine clunkers - the rest were rock solid, with "Prisoner of Benda" and "The Late Philip J. Fry" ascending to my personal pantheon of favorite Futurama episodes.
I did enjoy the last season for the most part, but I'm willing to chalk up any bad parts to them getting back into the groove of things. So I feel good about this season.
The season was fantastic though and especially good after the movies, which I confess I found interesting and clever in parts if not laugh out loud funny.
In conclusion, im super duper excited for new seasons.

Man were those great episodes.
I guess it's just that a lot of the jokes within each episode seem much more forced and less natural than they used to be. The scene editing processes have also gotten strangely jarring, both visually and logically. Stuff like that irks the shit out of me.
Not to mention the stories themselves have been generally mediocre, all of which look worse than normal when stacked against the last season pre-cancellation, which had some fucking brilliant stuff. Not that doing that is entirely fair, but I can't shut off my fond memories.

And yeah, the first episode will cause a hella shitstorm, most likely. But judging by the commercials, it at least looks funny, so there's that.
i wasn't expecting much especially because i didn't even realize they had made a new season that wasn't chopped up movies

Still holding out hope, though.
which movie is that from?
That scene was so fucking wonderful I had to question what it was doing in such a terrible film.
